Wow! Quite possibly the best experience we've ever had from a vet. The reception staff are lovely and you can tell they really care about the animals. Our little guy was fussed over and made to feel as comfortable as possible. The vet we saw was also lovely and very knowledgeable. They managed to fit us in at short notice and their charges for feline vaccinations were the cheapest in Canberra. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet to anyone in Canberra. Read Less

This place is great! Every time you go they make your pet feel loved even if its going to get something put up it's bum. Everybody is super friendly and there to help you. It is also across from a park area so you can take your dog for a walk before or after. Read Less

This vet clinic and the staff here are AMAZING. We have attended this clinic for the past 14+ years with our previous dog, our new puppy and our pet rabbit. When our old girl got to the end of her life (and was in too much pain, had cancer & a raging infection) the vet & vet nurse came to our house to put her down so that she slipped away peacefully in her own home. The day after this sad event we received a bunch of flowers and a card from the surgery wishing their condolences on the passing of our beautiful for child, this was a REALLY lovely gesture and made us really feel they cared. Thank You Hall Vet & Staff for all of the Excellent care you gave to our fur children Boo& Stew, and now are giving to our darling fur baby Mia. I HIGHLY recommend this clinic, for standard vet treatment, vet products, emergency vet treatment, puppy classes & obedience/ behavioural training (we just finished puppy preschool) etc.Read Less

I previously worked here as a veterinarian and can honestly say this is THE best, most compassionate and high-quality vet hospital in the ACT region (if not, Australia!). Dr Helen Purdam and Dr Lesa Potten who own the clinic are truly amazing vets; they are warm and friendly, and have extensive experience in surgery and medicine, and moreover keep up with Continuing Education on a regular basis, which means your pets are receiving the most up-to-date care. (Helen also has extra qualifications in Behavioural Medicine, so any pet with behaviour issues ranging from anxiety to aggression should without a doubt have a specific consult with her!). Dr Jim Riach has also been a veterinarian here for many years and is phenomenal in both his knowledge and practical skills - even capable of doing orthopedic procedures that most vets ordinarily can't perform due to complexity. All the vets are extremely humble despite their expertise, and I wondered whether I should even write this review since they are already sufficiently busy with their loyal, long-term client base, but I want pet-owners to be aware of this genuinely brilliant hospital that exists! The nurses are also fantastic, and head nurse Ella is super experienced in all areas, especially since she has also worked in specialist emergency clinics.
