Our beloved dog Bibi, a friendly & submissive girl, was savaged by two dogs by a river at 5pm on a week day. Bibi and I were both in shock but we managed to get to the Inner South Veterinary Centre in 20 minutes. Within two minutes Dr Amanda Nott had called us into her room. Amanda explained that Bibi would be given pain-killing and antibiotic injections, & examined. She would need surgery. Amanda was, as always, calm, professional & caring. She reassured me that Bibi would be all right, asked how I was, &recommended that I report the attack. That evening and the next morning I received SMS updates on Bibi's condition. When I picked her up, Amanda explained exactly what surgery Bibi had received &gave clear instructions about her care, medication, & required follow-up visits.
It's a terrible experience, having your pet savaged & unable to do anything. Bibi received the best care from all the staff involved. She is recovering well. The Inner South Vet Centre's Drs Isabelle Resch & Amanda Nott & the nurses have given our Four Paws excellent healthcare (our late cats Stella and Tobit, & now Perseus; & our late dogs Folly, Vita, &Tom-Tom, & now Bibi). I trust their advice implicitly. Highly recommended practice. Heartfelt thanks, all. Read Less
