We have been visiting the WCVH for many years. When we moved to the other side of Canberra, we stayed with this practice because the vets and staff could not be kinder, gentler or more caring towards both their patients and their owners. Doris, Richard, Meredith and the team have provided exceptional care to our Golden Retrievers over many years, including supporting us when we had to make the hardest (and kindest) decision of all. I have never been so upset with service from anyone ever. I am in Canberra for the Mother's Day weekend and came without my dog's essential medication. I came to Waramanga vets to get 2 tablets. TWO! to see us through till we got back to Sydney. We've been to this vet before. They've patched My dog up before when he was injured . I brought him in after he got sick and needed regular meds so that if my mum needed to bring him in while she was minding him for me they would know his condition. For 2 tablets that normally cost me about 65c each they charged me $18.35. They said I had to pay a "script fee" and that was why it was so high. I had no choice but to pay or my dog would be sick. If I hadn't been so upset about them seeming to take advantage of my situation I would have asked for 100 tablets so at least I wouldn't be paying over $9 per tablet. So thanks Waramanga vet for your heartlessness. I hope you enjoy your $18.35 because you will NEVER EVER get another cent out of me. Read Less
