Asquith Veterinary Clinic was established in 1976. The group was expanded to include the Berowra Veterinary Clinic in 2000. For over 35 years, we have been providing quality veterinary care for the people of the Hornsby Shire and Upper North Shore.
Asquith and Berowra are some of the northern most suburbs of Sydney with Asquith being 26kms north-west of the Sydney central business district and Berowra 38kms north of Sydney.
Asquith Veterinary Clinic is located on a quiet stretch of the Pacific Highway and Berowra Veterinary Clinic is on the main street of the leafy village of Berowra ensuring easy access and parking to both clinics.
Our promise to you is to treat your pets with compassion and respect. We are family friendly Practices which maintain the highest and most current standards of care.
All of our staff are well trained and share in the genuine concern for your pet’s health. We go to great lengths to ensure that your pet’s stay in hospital is comfortable and that their individual needs are met. Hospitalised pets are caged in air-conditioned wards in hygienic stainless steel cages. Both Clinics have large yards, where patients can be walked under veterinary supervision to stretch their legs and toilet.
We welcome your feedback to ensure that we can best meet your needs and the needs of your pet. Your concerns are ours and we are most happy to help in any way possible even if this is just for a little reassurance.

Nurse nearly killed my rabbit. My 3 month old baby rabbit was very scared to go to the vet. We arrived on time but had to wait for 45 mins to an hour. We saw Dr Amy. She seemed nice and good but we were stressed as my rabbit kept trying to jump off the table in her fear and we were left occupied in making sure she didn’t. Amy left and Nurse came to administer revolution for ear mites. Idiotic girl opened the carrier door and then the rabbit jumped off the table. She tried to grab the rabbit but missed. My partner was standing next to her and luckily caught bunny against his knees otherwise she would have hit the ground. The incompetent girl said “this is a very skittish rabbit” instead of apologising. She’s a 3 month old baby rabbit who’s insanely scared. Very disappointed. Not going back. I later received a generic letter for a free nail clip but ... thanks but no thanks!

I cant recommend this clinic enough. We have been taking our fur baby here for almost 4 years now, including 2 major ACL surgeries. Angus (our dog) has not been the easiest patient this time around, but he has been looked after by the all the staff as though he were one of their own. Brad went out of his way to make sure we had all the support we needed over the Christmas and New Year period, even though the clinic was closed. Weve also had house calls when they knew it was hard for us to get Angus to the clinic for his daily bandage change. Angus actually gets excited when he realises we are taking him to the vet even after everything he has been through. This is a testament of how well hes been look after by the staff.

I had a cat emergency it was not my cat by my neighbours and they were not home. Cat had a temperature and a big abscess on his face. Over all cat was not well. When I walked in 7:50pm I did not get a welcome or asked what's happened they were more interested on how I was going to pay then I was told as it's not my cat I can't ask any information about the cat??? Privacy act for pets. I felt I was treated like a criminal they took my driving license number and full credit card details so if there are any issues I can be reported and to top it off my phone was flat so I was unable to move $$$ to pay the whole bill of $170. (Paid $80)I was given the cat back with blood all over it and attitude from the staff. I was shocked at the way I was treated it was 7:50pm apparently after hrs consultation and I was charged extended consultation but the cat was in the clinic for like 15 min. I was in tears on the way home blood all over cat and I was so stressed and worried how to explain what happened to my neighbours about the cat. I washed the cat as blood was getting everywhere in my home. Thankfully my neighbours were so happy that I looked after there cat but they were upset I was treated in such a way. Overall the vet had great facility but staff need to work on there compassion skills. Not everyone is a scammer or don't pay bills . If I get a pet I will personally not go back to this place that's a promise. He'll experience.

Our little puppy Rosie ate a sewing needle yesterday (Sunday night). I called the emergency mobile number and we were seen in 20 mins with an operation to follow. Thanks to Brad and the wonderful team. We really appreciated it. Note to self; take better care of sewing needles. Note to Rosie; don't eat sewing needles.

Communication for me is second to none. I had some questions and they were answered so promptly and so helpfully. My family has been coming to Asquith for many many years with our family dogs. Max is a frequent visitor and they treat him with all the love. I now bring my puppy here even though I no longer live close to the vet and Paddy thinks their great. He even gave Dr Amy some big kisses after his injections last night !

Highly skilled workers and all very friendly. Our dogs have been going here for years, recently had a very unfortunate experience involving very poor communication which then ended in me spending a lot of money unnecessarily. Tried to then work to a solution with the Asquith vet workers, which never went anywhere once again poor communication and no interest in the wrong doing that they had committed.

Nurse nearly killed my rabbit. My 3 month old baby rabbit was very scared to go to the vet. We arrived on time but had to wait for 45 mins to an hour. We saw Dr Amy. She seemed nice and good but we were stressed as my rabbit kept trying to jump off the table in her fear and we were left occupied in making sure she didn’t. I cant recommend this clinic enough. We have been taking our fur baby here for almost 4 years now, including 2 major ACL surgeries. Angus (our dog) has not been the easiest patient this time around, but he has been looked after by the all the staff as though he were one of their own. Brad went out of his way to make sure we had all the support we needed over the Christmas and New Year period, even though the clinic was closed. Weve also had house calls when they knew it was hard for us to get Angus to the clinic for his daily bandage change. Angus actually gets excited when he realises we are taking him to the vet even after everything he has been through. This is a testament of how well hes been look after by the staff.

I had a cat emergency it was not my cat by my neighbours and they were not home. Cat had a temperature and a big abscess on his face. Over all cat was not well. When I walked in 7:50pm I did not get a welcome or asked what's happened they were more interested on how I was going to pay then I was told as it's not my cat I can't ask any information about the cat??? Communication for me is second to none. I had some questions and they were answered so promptly and so helpfully. My family has been coming to Asquith for many many years with our family dogs.
