Jamie, Louise & their Team took such loving & great care of my beloved new cat when she needed surgery recently for removal of a rotten tooth; she would have been so terribly frightened that I might have been giving her up, after having had 3 homes & several months given up to the RSPCA all in this one year. Jamie Geddes has not long taken over this practice from Sam and Charlotte. I cannot speak more highly of the care and attention he has given my old English sheepdog Charlie. He was diagnosed with a large tumour in his ear which required specialist surgery to remove requiring a newly constructed ear canal. Charlie's operation has been very successful due to Jamie's persistence to reach a diagnosis and to deal with it successfully. Charlie is now totally comfortable and free from recurring ear infections. I should also add that the staff is very friendly and delightful to deal with, Charlie enjoys his visit to the vet knowing that there is very likely to be a treat in store.

I was rather disappointed when I learnt Sam and Charlotte Burke had sold their practice, as they were wonderfully caring Vets who were both skilled and thorough.
But, I must say sincerely, I am so pleased with the service of the new owners, and particularly the Senior Vet; Dr Jamie Geddes. He has taken ownership of administering my dog (Toby)'s health requirements and I acknowledge I consider Jamie to be (even) better than the previous owner/s. He has remained in constant contact regarding my dog's recent health issues, and his thoroughness and caring determination to control Toby's delicate heart problems have truly impressed me. He's the kind of Doctor you would want were you to need a human physician.

Since, Sydney Animal Hospitals took over ownership of Avalon Veterinary Hospital, I have called upon their services for my mini Schnauzer 'Bill', who was suffering from mild pancreatitis.
Under Jamie's care & management, I'm very happy to say that 'Bill' is now well on the way to recovery.

I cannot sign the praises loud enough about Sam and Charlotte's team down at Avalon Vet. We took our Pugalier dog Jack in for a visit as he had acute intestinal pain, and was vomiting. Sam took great care and interest in Jacks' condition and spent more time than he needed to, to get to the bottom of the problem. We have used a few Vets on the Northern Beaches over the years, but the team at Avalon Vets are in my opinion, by far the friendliest, most comprehensive and considerate professionals i have come across. Highly recommended.

Fantastic local vet. Always friendly and explains everything. Completely recommend Charlotte and Sam for cats, dogs..and I am sure any animal. Just sorry we can't be their patients too.
