About Us
We are a small animal veterinary hospital in Bankstown, established in 1948.
We have full hospital facilities with consultation rooms, surgery, in-house pathology, dental and digital x-ray as well as boarding facilities. We provide general care in the areas of vaccinations and check-ups, exploration and treatment for various conditions and ailments as well as surgical care for desexings and other soft tissue procedures. We also work with a network of specialists for specialty healthcare requirements.

Our Care Philosophy: Each of our veterinary surgeon/nursing team members embarked on their studies and eventual careers in this profession to pursue their passion for animal health. We strongly recommend preventative medicine and care for pets of all ages and we hope to foster responsible pet ownership by doing so.

We proudly operate two hospitals: Boundary Road Veterinary Hospital Peakahurst and Bankstown Veterinary Hospital. We share the same staff and live computer system for appointments and records between both hospitals so feel free to visit either.

Never again will I come here.ive come here twice both visits leaving me in anger over bad customer service and this lady's attitude STINKS and she has no idea how to talk to people. The vet nurse I spoke to , a blonde ish light eyes, has kids ( I don't know her name ) lady is absolutely RUDE! I came back here after maybe 4 months today to vaccine my kitten an I actually dreaded if I had to speak to this lady again after all that time, what does that te...ll you . Your attitude and how you speak to people needs a whole over haul.. did you not learn customer service? How to be nice? I would like not to be talking to in a lame tone, some EYE CONTACT would be great. A smile? How about not act as if I'm not talking to you? Go back to the drawing board of communications. As I said I'm not over exaggerating and twice leaving pissed off. Even the first time I needed help with baby kittens all the above happened, she couldn't even give any help? Advise ? Pointers? No proceeds to answer and talk on the phone AS I'm speaking to her. I came here cause it's very close to where I live and I don't have a car but I am so willing the hassle of travelling because of this lady. I don't understand HOW I kept my composure and not give her a piece of my mind!!. Give your staff a Ted talk. See More

Disappointed with my last visit, booked to see a particular vet, however when it was my fur baby’s turn, another young vet came. She spent time reading the history. Didn’t even bother listening to me, was more interested in reading than listening to what i had to say. My fur baby scratched herself badly because of her allergies and pulled her fur off. She looked disgusted and didn’t even touch my fur baby to check what was wrong with her. She gave her an injection and booked a follow up consultation. Of course when you get a steroid injection the allergies would disappear, what’s the point booking for a follow up? Oh and also, she was meant to give a follow up phone call in the next two days, which she never did!

I've given a high rating because care, professionalism and being thorough deserves that. It's rare to be put at ease and walk away with that feeling that all is going to be fine. Here at Bankstown Vet Hospital you get that and walk away feeling much better than you did walking in. Here the premises is clean, modern and inviting with lots of literature at hand. I could go on & on about how great the Vets and staff are but will keep it brief by saying that it's well worth the journey here for that extra peace of mind.

Today was my first time visiting this clinic and I loved everything about it. Everyone had a warm and welcoming attitude and the vet was exceptional. He was slow, precise and explained everything in great detail and nothing was ever rushed. The experience was indeed wonderful throughout it all.

An amazing team of professionals with caring hearts for all animals! Bryant Nguyen is honestly the most professional understanding knowledgeable Helpful Veterinarian I have ever had ( I have had many) You can place any animal with him having full confidence that he is doing the right thing for your loved animal He explains everything extremely well even showing online footage to make sure you understand the situation or illness your pet has He goes above and beyond to not only help your animal but also help you ! Bryant preformed a very complicated surgery on my miniature schnauzer Ronnie and I could not be happier with the result and service + After care with calling us on many occasions to make sure he was ok after surgery... I also have a cat and another miniature schnauzer which I would not trust with anyone else but Bryant Thank you so much for all your help and time I wish you were also a Dr for humans !

Our opinion of Bryant Nguyen and his team is that we have made the right move to a vet in our community (we have lived in Roselands 4.5 years but continued with our previous, awesome, vet in Petersham until now). The team at Bankstown Veterinary Hospital handled my old girl Zelda in the last few days of her life with the dignity any and every animal no matter how small or large deserves in their twilight years. Bryant had looked after Zelda, and two of my families dogs, since she was a young and spritely kitty. I never had the opportunity to come in and personally thank you and your team for doing would you could for Zelda but words will never be enough thanks for the care and support you provided not only Zelda, but me, her best friend of fourteen years. Disappointed with my last visit, booked to see a particular vet, however when it was my fur baby’s turn, another young vet came. She spent time reading the history. Didn’t even bother listening to me, was more interested in reading than listening to what i had to say. My fur baby scratched herself badly because of her allergies and pulled her fur off. Bryant Nguyen is honestly the most professional understanding knowledgeable Helpful Veterinarian I have ever had ( I have had many) You can place any animal with him having full confidence that he is doing the right thing for your loved animal He explains everything extremely well even showing online footage to make sure you understand the situation or illness your pet has He goes above and beyond to not only help your animal but also help you ! Bryant preformed a very complicated surgery on my miniature schnauzer Ronnie and I could not be happier with the result and service + After care with calling us on many occasions to make sure he was ok after surgery... I also have a cat and another miniature schnauzer which I would not trust with anyone else but Bryant Thank you so much for all your help and time I wish you were also a Dr for humans !

My partner and I are RN's with 40 years of critical care experience (of human beings!) between us. Our opinion of Bryant Nguyen and his team is that we have made the right move to a vet in our community (we have lived in Roselands 4.5 years but continued with our previous, awesome, vet in Petersham until now). Thank You, Bryant and team for your excellent management of 2 of our 3 dogs who fought, were terribly injured and recovered thanks to your team's superb management. Kind Regards. The team at Bankstown Veterinary Hospital handled my old girl Zelda in the last few days of her life with the dignity any and every animal no matter how small or large deserves in their twilight years. Bryant had looked after Zelda, and two of my families dogs, since she was a young and spritely kitty. I never had the opportunity to come in and personally thank you and your team for doing would you could for Zelda but words will never be enough thanks for the care and support you provided not only Zelda, but me, her best friend of fourteen years. Thank you.

Bryant Nguyen is a talented and caring professional. We have followed his move from Croydon to Bankstown as we value his care and expertise. He has cared for both our cats and dogs with equal skill. His practice at Bankstown is equipped with onsite pathology and digital xray making consultation quick and accurate. The surgery is clean and welcoming and the staff are polite and experienced. I highly recommend him to you.
