Our Siberian Husky (Thunder) decided late one Sat that the Rat Baits just laid next door looked tasty, Need I say more......
We contacted the ARH @ Baulkham Hills for emergency treatment, and arrived on their doorstep with 30 mins. The staff where extremely friendly, explained the procedure required to "evacuate" the contents and the follow up medical requirements.
Unfortunately during our visit at least 2 accident victims (both cats :-( ) arrived and required to be put down, a very sad time for the involved families. The staff showed 100% compassion for these families and I was very impressed by their professionalism, attitude and ethics.
Whilst expensive, as an emergency service 100% happy and will always pay what's required in an emergency.
The follow up activities from the attending vet was also 100% - they submitted paperwork and the required report to our insurance company in a very timely manner.
Thank You again for saving our boy :-)

My cat, Charlie, had to stay for a day and night on a weekend when my regular vet was closed. The staff at the Animal Referral Hospital were very professional, took very good care of Charlie and kept me updated on his condition.The premises were very clean and hygienic. This is the third time I've used this clinic after hours in an emergency situation and each time has been a positive experience for me and my pet.

My partner took our kitten here after an accident. Unfortunately, he passed away before he reached, and they could not do anything to save him. I was at work at the time, and could only visit 4 hours ...
My partner took our kitten here after an accident. Unfortunately, he passed away before he reached, and they could not do anything to save him. I was at work at the time, and could only visit 4 hours later, close to midnight. The hospital was kind enough to hold the body till then. They even cleaned him up (there was a lot of blood) and wrapped him in a towel so it would not be such a shock. It did not hurt as much, seeing our baby looking peaceful and warm, rather than lying exposed on a steel table. We still spent a good half hour crying in the room, the staff told us to take our time and gave us space. There was no judgement or rude comments. In that situation I cannot tell you how much that meant to us. They gently reassured us that he did not suffer (the death was instant), insisted we keep the towel to carry him in and even gave us a paper cloth to bury him in. After all this, the hospital did not take a single cent from us. Weeks later we got a sympathy card from them. We have never been there before, their empathy and concern for total strangers touched our hearts. We were so impressed that we wanted to change vets; we tried to take our other pets there for regular procedures and check ups (neutering etc) but they do not provide them. 6 stars for them if I could. They are amazing people. Thank you. V

Such a kind and caring staff and business. We have just received a sympathy card after we lost our dear pet Carrie. We rushed her there as she was so ill, but unfortunately she could not be saved. The staff were as upset as we were. This is not our usual vet and they did this, how kind of them. Our regular vet only sent an email after I informed them of her death. We highly recommend the Animal Referral Hospital.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Fantastic service from all involved even though they were very busy the staff were very professional and caring which made all the difference in having to leave my dog there overnight after her accident. They were amazing & understanding, i was able to call at all hours of the night to check in.
Dr Yui was absolutely amazing! So kind, understanding and informative, definitely the best Veterinarian i have come across.
