This place is disgusting. I took my puppy there for an injection late last year and received a quote for desexing. I called 3 weeks ago to book in desexing and the quote was confirmed. I turned up today to have the desexing done and some woman over the phone tells me that it will cost $200 more than the quote. This was just a blatant attempt to rip off a customer (confirmed because another vet has quoted the same original price for desexing). I called again to get this disgusting woman details and she refused to provide them, she won't even confirm she is a licensed vet. This place shouldn't be allowed to trade, and i wonder how many people they have been able to rip off with their appalling behaviour. Read Less

Do not take your dog here. I have been going to them since I moved from Queensland. The new owners do not care. My dog became very sick and I had no car to get her to the vets. When I rang to ask if the vet could come to my house, I was told that they would have to check and they would ring me back. Thirty minutes later and no call back, so I rang again, and was told by the vet "I can't come, I am driving". No wanting to know what was wrong with my dog. I ended up ringing Kellyville Ridge Veterinary Hospital and they came to my home. Mishca, my dog was taken to Kellyville Ridge Veterinary Hospital very sick. They admitted her and kept me up to date with her treatment. Unfortunately, Mishca passed away. If the vet from Chelsea Vet was more concerned, then maybe Mishca would still be alive. Read Less

In response to the owner, who gave a very strange reply to my one star rating...I think you are confused (or purposefully lying), I have never worked at Chelsea Veterinary Hospital, I am however a former customer who visited on numerous occasions with my dog and had a bad experience each time. Having recently moved to the area, I was looking at reviews of local vets. If the way this owner responds to negative reviews is any indication of how they run their practice (posting personal information, isn't there some sort of confidentiality rule that applies to vets?), I will be staying far away from this business. Took my cat there spent more time billing me and charging my Credit card than looking at my pet said fine pick up in the morning when we were about to leave they rang and said it died in the night? Constantly trying to tell you there is something wrong with your pet & when you go elsewhere they'll tell you that your Pet is fine & it's not necessary to keep buying products from this place. I have been volunteering at Chelsea vet for about 6 months and I am more than happy here also this vet has been my vet for around 15 years . I find the service they provide is professional and at a more than fair price. the vet is available 6 days a week and is a genuine and caring person and has a good knowledge of all animals ,i have tried a couple of other vets and have not been happy with the service i can't imagine going anywhere else my dog loves coming here i have also recommended chelsea to quite a few of my friends who are also happy Read Less

Worst vet in the hills district, tried to overcharge me for procedures that were completely irrevelant, and then tried to get me to keep my dog there over night and pay a couple $$$ for 'observation'.
