I haven’t been to a vet for years as my previous experiences haven’t been great - it always seemed to be about making as much money as possible whilst instilling the maximum amount of fear and guilt into you. I’d read great reviews about Dr Liz and the team so when one of my cats got sick I decided I’d take her there.
Dr Liz and Dirk were great. They were understanding (no guilt) and really clear on treatment options and cost. I got my cat back with a clear treatment plan after an overnight stay which came in way below what I expected in terms of cost.
I highly recommend the team at Russell Vale Vet and will definitely be using them again.

Nelson absolutely loves Dr Liz. He had some health issues (which Dr Liz helped heal) that included some invasive tests but he still jumps in the car, excited to see Dr Liz, Dirk and Tegan. Dr Liz, Dirk and Tegan have always been amazingly compassionate, helpful and supportive, they love my dog as much as I do. I couldn't recommend them highly enough

These guys are amazing as others have said. Dr Liz is very knowledgeable, considers your pet as a whole package instead of just throwing medication at them and gives you strategies and idea's to help....
These guys are amazing as others have said. Dr Liz is very knowledgeable, considers your pet as a whole package instead of just throwing medication at them and gives you strategies and idea's to help. She goes out of her way to make sure our anxious baby boy is as calm as possible, explains everything to us and is ridiculously patient with my endless stream of questions and she's happy to email with me when I'm worried about something to boot. Definitely worth the drive from our place to this clinic :) We couldn't be happier.

Thanks for giving our baby bunny her first check up and calicivirus shot on Saturday. You guys were so lovely and gave us some great information and reassuring after vac information. Whilst Schmoopsie was a bit under the weather over the weekend (and making us feel super bad about the whole thing - don't worry she definitely kept eating!) she is coming good and is just about back to her cheeky little self again. Feebie always has 24 hours where she is so lethargic that she doesn't even eat when given her annual Feline F3 vaccine, that is until Dr Liz took control. Come dinner time she was impatient as usual. ...

P.S. Liz was the first vet that managed to get the thermometer into Feebie to get a temp reading. Yes, I was totally surprised.

I haven’t been to a vet for years as my previous experiences haven’t been great - it always seemed to be about making as much money as possible whilst instilling the maximum amount of fear and guilt into you. I’d read great reviews about Dr Liz and the team so when one of my cats got sick I decided I’d take her there.
Dr Liz and Dirk were great. They were understanding (no guilt) and really clear on treatment options and cost. I got my cat back with a clear treatment plan after an overnight stay which came in way below what I expected in terms of cost.
I highly recommend the team at Russell Vale Vet and will definitely be using them again.
