Dr Lisa Shaw is incredible. My puppy had jaw problems and I was recommended by a vet to be reviewed by Lisa. Misha (my puppy) had dental surgery and it was heading in the direction of a second surgery. This was when I was referred to Lisa. I trusted her care and knowledge so much that I happily travelled 90minutes every 1-2 weeks (no charge for the quick check ups and very reasonable consultations) to see how my puppies jaw was developing for almost 2 months. She took the time to explain what was going on with her jaw and also emailed me information such as exercises to prevent surgery. In the end, Misha didn’t need a second surgery and I believe it was purely based on Lisa’s expertise, wisdom and care. Thank you so much! Read Less

If being ignored for five minutes straight by both the receptionist AND the labeled "#DrJohn" is your thing, then come on in to this clinic! Take pleasure in being disregarded by both staff members who are standing at the desk in front of you, having a chat. Enjoy the welcoming feeling of having all your eye contact avoided while they refuse to simply say "hello" or greet you. So awkward in a small room. Feel good about choosing this clinic when you see "#DrJohn" backing out of the room so he doesn't have to acknowledge you, as his social conversation comes to an end. This business clearly invests in looking fancy, but has no idea about investing in basic customer service. In case your wondering "#DrJohn" ... - Acknowledge or greet within the first 10 seconds - Eye Contact - Smile It's not hard, it's simply friendly and nice, but neither of you did this in ample time. You didn't have to stop your most important conversation about 'why the animal doesn't sit on her lap'. When you treat your customers like this, I can only imagine the treatment the animals are getting. No thanks! Not a chance in hell I'd take my animals here. Read Less

I have been taking both my dogs to Dr John for 2 years now & I recommend his clinic whenever an opportunity presents itself (like now!). Each & every visit has involved skilled, professional treatment along with a deep sense of caring & interest in all aspects of the animal's life & circumstances.
