I have been using James Haywood's vet services since i moved to the Blue Mts nearly 10yrs ago. In that time he and his team at Blackheath have treated 4 of my dogs through various situations including one very aged dog, a young dog who sadly died from an aggressive form of cancer, one dog nursed back from the brink of a brown snake bite and another dog with a number of issues including infection from spider bite and a leg injury. Both James and Michelle, his wife and partner in the business, have assisted me greatly as I have some disabilities and they have gone out of their way to help me and my animals, even making housecalls on weekends and days off, as well as helping me with the transporting of my dogs when i have not been able. I highly recommend their expertise and genuine care for all small animals. No question is too trivial and no observation made by myself as the owner is dismissed without consideration. Read Less

My beautiful Shepherd penny has had a few ear infections as she was rescued from a council pound and has been seeing James at the clinic.
