Very Greedy Vet!! Took our female pug dog to Animal Care Vet Hospital Flushcombe road Blacktown at 10pm, on 20/4/2023 20/4/2023 she was in pain with blood clots in her urine "unwell".When we walked in,payment had to be paid first for concialtation,before seeing her $278.00.Then the vet seen her,she diagnosed cystitis or kidney stones as the cause.Gave her 2 injections 1 for pain relief,1 was antibiotic ,also some pain tablets and antibiotic tablets charged another $492.00 then we took her back home,not happy.I stayed up with he all night,Phoned Woodstock Animal Hospital Vets,explained her symptoms,what had happened.They said bring her down sounds like Pyometra.it was they booked her in straightaway for life saving surgery,shes resting at home.We are so very grateful cant thank them enough. "PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ANY APPOINTMENTS WITH THIS VET CLINIC" I had a very bad experience today while booking an appointment with the lady who spoken in phone was very much rude and I was so upset. The owner of the this vet clinic need to change the receptionist lady otherwise you might lose the valued customers. She doesn't know how to talk politely to give an appropriate answer and that too for the first customers. If she don't know how to answer for the question at least she can say to check on the website or google for the best answer. If that person don't love the human being then how they can show their affection to our loved ones (pets) which is very important than humans. I don't blame the whole clinic for just because of this lady staff as this is my first booking through phone call which ended up with cancellation. Read Less

let’s start with the disclaimed that I am not an ex employee (although you have to ask how many ex employees they have based on their comments and why so many people leave) this vet and her husband has been illegally breeding animals (english bulldog and french bulldogs) for over 9 years including stating by the vet that they are registered breeders yet are unable to provide paperwork to back her claims (yes i have evidence of this and have also checked - they are backyard breeders!) the husband has finally been charged and fined with animal cruelty and neglect from the RSPCA and is never allowed animals again, the wife (the vet) allowed this animal cruelty and neglect to happen in her clinic proving yet again she is about money not the care and welfare of animals. Brought my big boy here his a bull mastiff his was attacked by another dog let was bleeding really bad a lot of blood came here as it was after hours the vet wouldn’t even look at him till I gave over money my son was holding the wound he was in a lot of pain till I gave her money she finally did something it was like 20 mins after we went over how much much it was going to cost me $2500 later he had surgery she had the hide to ring me to kick him up after surgery as they didn’t have a cage big enough for him try getting a dog that was 80kg into a. Disgusting people. I took my bird there. I wanted to have her put to rest as she was in a bad way and I suspected cancer. They told me it was her tail feather that was causing the loss of so much blood and they would have to take it of and corterise it Got her home and so much more blood and she died the next day. never take your pets to this vet.i took my cat to this vet three times and charge me over $1000 to remove a tooth to find out it was snap off and not taken out put water in antibiotics I saw this happen.when I picked my cat up after being desexed they said to me you go and get him he was coveted in other animals urine as the cages leaked.they should be closed down Read Less

I called this vet as it was the only 24 hour vet in Blacktown. I found a small dove on my porch that wasn’t really moving, only the movement of its breathing. I had already called wires but couldn’t get through to after hours as it wasn’t an emergency. I only called this vet for some advice but as soon as I started telling what happened she started speaking over me saying that I have to call wires and there are no vets around (yet it is a 24 hour vet), after several attempts to try to tell her that I had in fact called and was only trying to get some advice, she continued to speak over me. I had to literally yell over the top to tell her I had called wires and she continued speaking over the top. If I could give no stars I would. I had heard terrible things about this vet but was desperate to find what to do about this bird. Read Less

I do not understand the negative reviews for this vet. We brought our almost dead cat here late last night. He was suffering severe septicemia after hiding in a bush from a major dog bite 3 days earlier. Our vet did everything that was needed to stablilise him, then operated on him and called me regularly with updates. She was very thorough, caring and obviously knows her stuff. We paid on the spot and maybe that’s the issue for some people (reading the reviews) but you can’t expect people to work for free. I would highly recommend this vet if you are happy to pay for your pet’s wellbeing. If you aren’t, then either get pet insurance or don’t have pets. This is the first time i have even written a google review but i had to due to the frustration i have with this clinic. First of all terrible customer service and not only that ... i rang today to enquire about pricing on something for my 9 month old puppy. I have been to her once so i thought id try it again but i couldnt believe what she said. Because i had been to another vet previously and haven't come to her for everything she refused to treat my dog due to me not being a " loyal customer", lets keep in mind my puppy has only had to go to the vet twice for his two needles. I couldn't believe how rude this lady was that i spoke to. I wouldn't bother with this vet, after reading the other bad reviews i agree with them all because its now happened to me. If you need a vet around the area go to the one on kildare road, they provide excellent service and i know my pets are always in the best of care there. Read Less

Very scary to know that this Vet Hospital is in operation. Spoke with the Veterinarian in regards to our family dog and her customer service was extremely rude, very blunt in response and aggressive. My brother left his contact details with her and he asked if i could call later in the day to see the status of our dog. When i had called on one occasion for a brief follow up she refused to provide any information. The lady called my brother stating and i quote " your sister called me to many time and is very annoying, i am not going to operate on your dog, you come pick him up now". I was completely dumb found of her response. Our dog is now at a different Vet thank goodness. When speaking with the vet we are currently with now we were advised that the information given by this lady in regards to "operating" on our dog could of led to his death. Our dog is alive and is well looked after only taking stronger antibiotics, flesh wound clean and stitched and we spent less then $850 which this vet (Blacktown) had quoted in regards to "operation". Please do not bring your loved ones here. This Vet Hospital holds no pride in public ediquette, lack of sympathy and should be reported and shut down for good. Read Less

I took my cat here this week and she received very good treatment. My cat had a lump growing near one of her eyes which had to be removed via surgery. This was done quickly and professionally. Besides the high fees for this medical treatment I am very pleased with everything the vet did. Read Less

10:30 PM Called this vet and tried explaining that a cat is unconscious at my front yard which doesn’t even belong to me. Rather than giving me a suggestion what to do the lady on the phone was just repeatedly asking for $200 consultation fees and then hanged up. She didnt even bothered asking if the cat is breathing or i can ring someone else who can assist me. And after reading the reviews I couldn’t stop my self to write this. UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL. I went to this vet as I had found a dog out on my street that had gotten out, he was running out onto the roads, I was afraid he would be hurt, he had no collar on, so I took him here to find out his address to take him home as it was the closed vet to my house also assuming as it was 7am being a "24 hour vet" no other vet opens until 9/10 an being hesitant anyway as I've heard awful things. I was spoken to through an intercom an told I would not be seen until 9 because she only does microchip checks between a certain time period. I tried to explain what the situation was an I was shut down an told I was not listening to her an I needed to come back later. I was gob smacked that someone in this field, could be so incompetent to even help out to find where this dog had come from. If there is no compassion to find where this dogs home was, how could you trust them with the life of your pet, with something even more serious or life threatening to your animal. Read Less

DON'T BOTHER!! DON'T GO!! 1 Star just so I could add my review! SHIT SERVICE! She was just SOO RUDE! She didn't even check my puppy until I paid her! She made more effort by getting money out of me then doing her actual job!! She told me to use news paper or something to cover him so he doesn't spread the germs (which I completely understood). BUT what I don't understand is that there was SHIT stain on the floor near the entrance! Blood stain in the other room with fkn dirt on the table! And she had the audacity to tell me about germs when that place was contaminated! from who knows what! ALERT!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE !!!! They killed my cat I have taken my cat after midnight on Saturday to this horrible vet as it was the only one open. By cat was gasping for air and it could not breath. So when I went there she opened the door and took my cat in. Put some oxygen for him in the treatment room. Then she came out and asked, how I am going to pay. I asked how much will it cost? Then she quoted few hundred dollars. I said, I will pay part of it now and will arrange to pay the rest the next day. She said no and need to pay the whole amount in advance first. Then she took my can off the oxygen and said to me, take your cat with you and go or You can have the cat put to sleep. I refused for the cat to be put to sleep. I said, please help my cat first and I will organise to pay the whole amount. She refused and opened the front door so I could go. My cat died in the car. Please if your reading this, help me by putting a complaint to the Vet Practicing Board to have this place closed down. This vet should not be operating at all as they have no sympathy or respect for the life of our pets and also they have no respect or customer service towards the owners that go there. Would give less if possible, called regarding our bird that isnt looking too well, lady who answered had no customer service skills at all, asked if we could bring the bird in for the vet to have a look, speaks with the "please go away" attitude and a very cold tone. Found a lost dog after hours. Google this place to be the closest “24 hour vet” with no one answering the door buzzer and all the lights on. Stood outside and called the phone number provided. After explaining it’s a lost dog, the extremely unhelpful person told us that they closed?! Will only open for money basically!! Asked for nearest place we can take the poor pup, and somehow she had no idea...?! Are you not a vet? Are you not associated with your local professionals? I recommend not to come to this "24 hour" vet if you have a pet emergency. I have not used this vet but I was at the clinic this particular day. I witnessed three different people in a 30 minute time span have to turn around and travel to another veterinarian because this practise is apparently "24/7" but no one is ever actually there? There was one woman with a kitten who in fact called before arrival and was told there would be someone waiting for her at the clinic in 15 minutes, unfortunately there was not and she had to turn around with her small children and find another vet for her critically ill kitten. I also helped another woman who was in hysterics because her dogs eye was popping out of his head... if you're not open 24 hours stop marketing yourselves as one. Read Less

I do not recommend this vet practice at all! Dr Sivaji was incredibly hostile and unprofessional speaking to us. She definitely did not care for the well-being of my pet. If you would like your pet to be treated by a passionate veterinarian, I don't recommend you bring them here. Read Less

I have been there twice in the past - worst experience. If you didn't ask for cost first, you Will be paying a lot as they don't really care about the animals but money. For example nail clipping -a 5 mins job for 2 dogs, they charged me 50 dollors. Be careful if there's any emergency treatment, which can be priced highly unexpected. I took my cat for emergency care, my cat was hit by a car. The doctors were very nice and very caring to my pet. They treated my cat with such good care and my cat is now getting better after the following treatment. I highly recommend this Vet Hospital!! Read Less

Wouldn't suggest this vet to anyone. This women is only after the money , charges ridiculous prices and doesn't give a damn about the pets well being. My mother went away for a month and when she came back to pick up the dogs they were all filthy didn't change the cages the poor dogs had to sleep in their own urine and crap not only that she charged her $2k + when she got back !!! For what ?! and tried to tell us that she won't give us the dogs until she pays this hefty bill that she didn't even deserve and refused a payment plan from my mother. Absolutely disgusted by the staff here. Last night I found an injured dog @ 2am and rang the clinic to ask if I could bring it in. The female who answered said go ring the rspca or council. After advising her the numbers are only contactable during business hours she hung up on me. Tried calling again several times how ever no one answered. Took my dog here after hours as my dog ate ransack and our normal vet was closed. She made me pay $180 before seeing him. She gave him a needle so he can throw up the ransack. My dog ended up emptying both ends and made myself and my brother clean it up while she stood there and watched! My dog didn't like going there and he usually loves going to our normal vet. My dog was even angry about the incident he threw up outside before we left! Never again Read Less

Why is this business even certified? They have the worst costumer service. Took in a lost dog and they made us scan the dog for its microchip without any instructions. They gave us false information: dog's name and claimed it lived an hour away. Thankfully a lady nearby had a chip scanner and we found out he lived 10 houses from ours. If I could leave 0 stars I would. She was the horrible vet at lock st before this, she is neglectful and abusive to the animals, mis diagnoses, isnt sanitary, just after money!! Bringing your pet here is pretty much a death sentence. After being there over night my cat's leg still wasn't even bandaged or splinted the next day. She wouldn't let me take him elsewhere as he was already on iv. He was struggling to breathe due to shock, she force fed him which in my opinion caused his death. Her excuse, his lung must have been perforated aswell as the the stomach so the fluid ran from the stomach Into the lungs, so not her fault. Hope you get shut down!!! Dr. Sivaji was excellent and you could tell she knows what shes doing, my bird got attacked by a cat and I called another vet and they said theirs no hope! I wanted to get another vets opinion so I went to this vet at 1 in the morning and she did some surgery and gave anti bio tics and now she is in perfect health! will definitely take all my pets here!! If I could do 0 stars I would! This practice is filthy and unhygienic! My dog was being quiet and lethargic, and I was told to bring him in over the phone. The vet seemed very Incompete and unsure of his diagnosis. She gave him an antibiotic shot and while she was doing that she asked me to hold him down! Once the antibiotic was admistered she tried to convince us to keep our dog in overnight without telling us the cost. We declined the overnight stay to which she begun acting even ruder and less willing to assist our pet. She told us to feed him bland food, and gave us prescription wet food - which was out of date and the label was faded like it was kept in an inappropriate area. Finally at the end of the consult she quoted us our price which was much more than we expected, when we asked what was wrong with our boy she couldn't give us a straight forward answer which was very frustrating espically when our baby was sick! When we went to pay for the medications and consult we felt that she couldn't wait to get the money off our credit card and into her pocket - and as soon as the money was transferred she left, leaving a young girl to manage the front counter. Once the vet had left I told the young girl how i was mad and upset at the service of the clinic she advised us that not many people are happy with the service. When we asked why our foods label was faded (we had not yet seen the out of date part) she told us that it was because it was kept on a back veranda on a shelf! This young girl also told us about many other things which happen behind the scenes DAILY! Here is some things which I remember her saying: -surgical kits were left out - and used for many surgeries! -she sold food which was out of date and could poison your animal -the cats which were being boarded ate dog food -the consult table was ALWAYS dirty and never cleaned -the boarded animals were stuck in the vet cages 27/7 and only got news paper at the bottom of the cage -Dogs go without water for several hours -Sharma (vet and owner) breeds Dogs downstairs - many of which are always crying and pregnant - Sharma is rude to everyone - bossing people around, this is why many TAFE and UNI students leave this clinic and find another to work at -she is never straight forward about pricing and SCAMS PEOPLE -she toke the info off many different vets pages and copied it word for word onto her website. -she asked the young girl what rabbits eat (and she's a so called vet)... Our cat was brought here by a good Samaritan after he was hit by a car. Even though the cat was visibly in pain the vet refused to examine him until the woman paid an upfront fee + any pain relief he needed at that time. The vet said she tried to contact us but no-one answered and that she would not provide any further care to him. Thankfully the woman got our phone number and contacted us herself, because otherwise we wouldn't have known he was there. The vet was rather rude and disrespectful, she took X-ray's and attended tests without seeking permission prior then became agitated when we questioned her as to why she didn't contact us herself and why certain tests were conducted without consent, then stated she was too busy to call and she could do as she pleased because she was a vet and we were not. Still, we had to beg her to take X-ray's of his face as his jaw was out of place, once she finally agreed, it turned out his jaw was broken, rather than fix the jaw she pulled two teeth and did NOTHING to repair the serious break. Her surgical technique was poor and barbaric. She refused to feed the cat for 4 days, no IV fluids, no supplements, he lost 2 kilograms whilst under her care, whilst we understand that he may not have been able to eat, he could have had an IV supplement (a commonly used treatment, which we happily would have paid for!!). She did not administer antibiotics after the surgery, nor was he given adequate pain relief. We had to beg to be able to see him, even then she became agitated, when we were there telling us she was incredibly busy and we should not be visiting (majority of the cages were empty, the waiting room was empty, she was certainly not busy doing her job). When we were finally able to take our cat 6 days later (after essentially threatening legal action for neglect) she again was rude and disrespectful towards us and told us we were being morons. We took our cat to another vet right away and there was nothing more that could be done. The infection was so serious that the cat became septic as well as internal bleeding that the vet ignored, he died shortly after. The vet at this clinic is neglectful and inconsiderate. If the vet had administered antibiotics and actually attended the tests we paid for our beautiful cat would still be here. She does not deserve to be practicing. You have a duty of care to animals and you failed them. Do not take your pets here, there are fantastic 24hour vets in baulkham hills who will take care of your pets in an emergency and even admit when they're outside of their scope of practice, rather than try to get as much money as possible. Hygienically, this clinic is poor and a breeding ground for bacteria. There mustn't be a decent cleaner, as there was always faeces in the cages, on the walls, the tables and floors. Beware. You know a veterinary practice is bad when the manager himself has to make fake accounts and write good reviews to balance out the bad ones. Do not take your pets here! They use untrained tafe students to do tasks that even skilled vet nurses would struggle with. Boarding animals are given no attention and kept in tiny cages crying for food and attention. The surgery room is unsanitary, and out of date food and medication are given to animals. Please do not trust them with your pets! Read Less
