Animal Referral And Emergency Centre

Broadmeadow, New South Wales
General Info
Animal Referral And Emergency Centre is a forward-thinking company in nan that caters to the needs of pets and their owners. Animal Referral And Emergency Centre has a solid reputation among New South Wales-based pet lovers looking to access vet services in the region. Pet owners from nearby places have access to the services because the clinic is in New South Wales. Depending on the case, services may include routine check-ups, pet vaccinations, early disease screenings, and diagnostic consultations. Animal Referral and Emergency Centre creates a peaceful atmosphere in which both the pets and their owners feel comfortable. The Broadmeadow veterinary team handles various medical problems, from skin and coat issues to dental and mobility problems. Despite the focus on wellness visits and preventive plans, the clinic also demonstrates excellent management of infections and digestive changes. The Animal Referral And Emergency Centre is an essential aid to the families of New South Wales as they navigate difficult disease diagnoses and the pain management of senior pets with chronic illnesses. Visitors often talk about the way the clinic communicates information, which is clear and kind. Pet owners feel more confident and at ease concerning their pet-care decisions. A lot of customers keep using the company’s services because they are reliable and because they build trust over time. The personnel’s grasp of both basic and advanced veterinary subjects assists them in directing the long-term care implementations. The Animal Referral and Emergency Centre continually grows because people move to Broadmeadow with their pets, while others want the services close to them. The clinic’s position in the local pet community establishes an interconnected system of responsible pet ownership and dedicated animal care. There is a reliable option for people seeking veterinary services in New South Wales. The established veterinary practice offers routine and emergency care to pets. The population living in Broadmeadow together with adjacent New South Wales regions is often grateful to be within reach of clinics like the Animal Referral And Emergency Centre. New pet owners looking for guidance and longtime clients with special needs have an ongoing need for clear, compassionate, and consistent veterinary services. This practice is an important aspect of communal life because it performs the following roles. Both routine and advanced procedures (e.g., 24 Hour Emergency, Acupuncture) are performed at the premises. Whether it’s a puppy’s immediate health or an older pet’s long-term needs, AEC continues to guide Broadmeadow families with practical insight.

Save your pets life and AVOID this vet. This vet is negligent and incompetent and my dog would still be alive if I didn’t go here. Unfortunately, it was a situation that needed urgent attention and I wasn’t aware of many after hours vets in my area. Adding to the distress of the situation, I received a text the day after dropping off my dog, indicating she was ready for pick-up. Relieved, I scheduled a time to collect her, only to receive another call hours later stating it was a mistake and it was recommended to put her down, a decision I was completely unprepared for and avoidable if I had taken her elsewhere. Since then, I have seen numerous bad reviews and feedback in community groups and I hope no-one else has to put down their dog because they got more sick from the lack of action and care. They have a well known bad reputation and I regret ever going there. Read Less

Excessive prices and no care options. Great treatment until we decided to take our pet home. We were worried about leaving him in hospital as it could exacerbate the issue due to further stress, which our vet agreed with. When we asked about an at home care plan we were given none. We were instantly treated like our pet was not important and forced to leave without any extra medication. They gave minimal care of one pain needle and some liquid which cost more than a full weeks worth of medication we received from our own vet the next day. We took him to our own vet and got instant care and a medication plan and confidence. I was really hoping for more and did expect to pay more for access after hours however it appears they really had no option other than hospitalization. Worried about next time as there are limited alternatives. Read Less

While the staff were polite, two vets I encountered (day & night vets) appeared to be straight out of vet school. My dog was hit by a car & they ran so many tests/procedures. When I raised concerns about cost ($3000), they didn't make any recommendations of what tests were absolutely necessary & what weren't. The next day the vet could only tell me what injuries my dog had but not the treatment required. They wanted to keep my dog there for a further 4 days until they could consult the surgeon at a minimum additional cost of $2500 (my dog is 13). I took my dog to my normal vet & he was able to tell me straight away the treatment required & given my dogs age the likelihood of full recovery. The vets here have little experience & the prices are jacked up through the roof. To make matters worse they overcharged a person who just had her pet euthanasied & she had to wait 20mins for them to fix it while clearly upset. At home I looked over my invoice and discovered i had been billed twice for medication. Great that somewhere is opened for emergencies but expect to buy through your nose even though any decent vet would know the prognosis is poor. Read Less

They only care about money. The staff are young and look fresh out of uni. Inexperienced, and don't know the difference between pneumonia and aspirating food pellets. The hint is our animal was fine, running around, eating, then started choking and gasping for air. Nasal discharge was mixed with food. Vet refered to this as "green stuff". We were not allowed into the exam room which put extra stress on out pet as she only trusts us to touch her. Our pet drowned in her own aspirated mucus 3 hours after arrival. We would have been much better off keeping her at home trying to keep her calm and encouraging her to cough up the fluid. If you are going to charge more than tripple for a small animal, I expect you to be an expert in its care. At the end of the night they handed us our dead pet and told us we could come back tommorrow to pay the other $200......on top of the $800 they demanded before they would even "treat" her. If this happened through the day and we took her to our usual vet she would still be alive. This isn't a 'heat of the moment review'. A few weeks have past. Read Less
