RESPONSE TO VET:
I would have been fine if it was only another suggestion offered, but it wasn't only that. When I said I am seeing my normal vet for it I got told that I'm leaving my dog in pain because im not doing anything about it. Well he has had 3 people look at it since and all disagreed to what I was told by your clinic. The amount I paid for the same type of thing compared to my normal vet was disguisting.
When I came in today after my dog being injured in an attack I straight away felt judged. This is not my normal vet but I needed to get my dog straight to the nearest vet.
My dog has a cataract in one eye which has been diagnosed and monitored by my normal vet for years now, so I dont know why they brought it up considering thats not what we came for.. but they kept making me feel guilty for not removing his eye or operating on it (normal vet said there is no point due to his age and he isnt showing signs of discomfort).
Not only that, they tried to make me feel guilty because I didnt want to leave my dog in over night.. (reason was because I didnt agree with what they were saying and I wanted to take him to my normal vet).
I immediately called my other vet who said the same thing theyve said for years and surgery should be an option if it was causing discomfort.
I also dont understand why you cant treat a dog infront of the owner.. every vet ive been to treats him infront of me to explain what they need to do and to make sure he is comfortable and confident. Why do you have to take him out back?
My dog is a senior dog so yes he doesnt look like a young cute puppy.. but I can asure you that he is well looked after, and I worry over the smallest things so he goes to the vet quite often.
Thanks but no thanks.. not coming back here again! (Especially for the price you pay) 😠😠😠

Have been there with both dogs before but yesterday our small elderly dog was the victim of a large dog attack. Operation 1.5hours trying to save her (which they did). They gave the truth in answer all enquiries in a caring and professional manner. So far the outcome is good and the cost including meds was not as bad as feared. We were also well coached on wound care before we were permitted to take our stitched and battered girl home. Thanks to everyone there.

Our cat was really well looked after here. The vets and the staff were friendly, professional and responsible. They would call me to update me how my cat was doing daily when my cat was hospitalised in there. The cost was reasonable as well. I recommend this veterinary.

Had the worst experience yesterday at this vet the rudest doctor ever will never go there again was in tears. My first time ever at a vet and my daughter puppy wasn't feeling well. Doctor was nice at first but the girl that was working there thank you I think her name was Chloe she was really nice and helpfuly told me about payment before going a head with everything. He wasn't really happy when I was short with the payment I had to ring around for the extra money I didn't have but all the doctor could say just need my money today. In a rude manner I am not a person to leave some where with out paying but I didn't know that the injection and the other stuff was extra u should of told me first before going a head with it. God bless you and we wil not be returning ever

Took our small Cav to the vet as he had an irritation on his skin after using Advantix gel, and while the vet was lovely and thorough, the girl on reception made mention that he also needed his vaccin...
Took our small Cav to the vet as he had an irritation on his skin after using Advantix gel, and while the vet was lovely and thorough, the girl on reception made mention that he also needed his vaccine which was due back in May. We had no idea otherwise we would have organised this. I asked why we couldn't just do it while we were here but was told "oh because it's too late now and the vet is going home". Disappointing as we now have to pay for another consult for a quick needle he could have been given before returning again afterwards (after his vaccine) for dental surgery to have three teeth extracted. A little annoying I have to say. Although, Lisa was lovely during the consult. Definitely not cheap though, and will have to pay for another consult just for his vaccine and then another for dental surgery. ** I called back a week later and was told we would need to pay $104 with includes another consultation he doesn't need, we just needed his shot they didn't do last week due to them going home. Really disappointing and not really how you should treat your loyal customers. I said I will try some other local vets instead in future. Their response; "well that's up to you". These vets need to get better staff if they want to keep loyal customers. Our file is now being transferred to one of your competitors.

Many thanks and much gratitude to our wonderful vets as always. Squeezed us in without an appointment and sorted out Monty for us. Muscular strain in his shoulder which was making the mother panic. Another small issue with his bum as well so we have pain killers and antibiotics for the pooch and in a little while a strong drink for the frazzled but relieved mother. Honestly, the staff at Campbelltown Veterinary Hospital are THE best. And they've looked after us and our babies for 30+ years now. Thank you guys.

horrible, took my dog to get a tooth removed and was told $600. they rang me half way throw the surgery stating my dog has a strange lump on his foot , it must be grass seed inside and will cost $75 to get the out. pretty much forced me to agree to pay extra. although after that my total should be $675 but was charged $743. disappointed that they were not honest and took me for a young girl. will never return.

My dog with one leg ligament problem,she can walk by 3 legs, and we bring her to this hospital. Doctor bring her inside to check. we has been asked to wait for her outside the room. and after Doctor take her out to us and ask for surgery for the leg $2000 for one leg, we suppose to book the surgery next day. so when we got home. we found she even can't stand up now. she got 2 legs all can't walk!!! another leg ligament broken!!
I will take legal action to you !!! Why you so cruel?! to hurt my dog another leg! just for extra surgery fee?? that is not what the doctor should do!!!
