The owner of this place should vet who they hire, as we had the worst and most unprofessional experience of our lives with Allison, the vet!
Not only we’re we assured that the medicine our dog had been given from our previous vet for his ear condition was wrong, but we were also Assured that upon having a swab done to our dogs ears, and waiting for the culture to get the results, that she could and will resolve our dogs ear infection.
We repeatedly asked her that whether she was sure of this, and a definte yes was yes was replied!
We informed Allison that our dog had this ear infection for over a year, and that our last vet kept selling us antibiotics and quarter zone tablets repeatedly, after the 7 or 8 follow up visits we had with that particular vet, who we left due to the lack of recording our visits with our poor dog!
All this was CLEARLY explained to vet Allison, who came across dismissive, in your face, rude, dominant, and unstable, in our initial visit and repeatedly explaining our dogs circumstances, and the last vets lack of investigation etc etc she again assured us that if she got this culture done and found what bug or infection, example yeast etc etc, that she could help our poor dog.
I’d like to say we had spent just under 2 thousand with other vet to resolve this but upon the realisation that previous vet was just playing or tugging on our heart strings so to speak, and lining his pockets, we voted with our feet and pocket and went elsewhere!!!!!
What a tragic mistake that was!!!!!!
I only held my tounge due to the fact I didn’t want to upset my wife or the receptionist, who heard the whole conversation with vet however her been an employee, I’m sure she wouldn’t want to get involved.
We took this vets word and forked our another 800 odds bucks and 2 follow up visits only to be told she doesn’t know what to do know as our dogs ears had not gotten better and arrogantly refereed is to Sydney uni vets, to see a specialists skin/ dermatologist.
To top that off,
earlier on our second visit she accused us of not looking after our dog as we had not followed with our dogs ear condition that we previously spent just under 2 thousand dollars at croydon vet clinic because she was told that, which is totally untrue and unlike the vet there that didn’t keep records of our dogs visits, we kept records of all the costs/ receipts.
I’m bloody fuming at this place as what broke the camels back was today I called in to pick up a script for cream for our dogs ear.
A couple of days ago I was told sometimes a 10 dollar script fee was payable, however when I called yesterday to confirm a script was going to be left for me at front desk, no one mentioned a cost for the script and upon arriving the receptionist asked if I had been told about a fee which I had been informed sometimes a fee was payable but the person on the phone yesterday did not mention this, would be the case, BUT HOLD YOUR HORSES !!!!
The script fee over night went from 10 to 15 dollars!!!
What a corrupt and joke of a system this society we live in has.
Solicitors I can understand, it’s all about the bottom line but doctors, vets, what I joke I say and I’ll never believe another word any vet says as it also about the bottom line there back pockets and not THE BEST CARE FOR THE SUFFERING ANIMALS, THAT WE TAKE TO THEM.
If you do read this burwood vet I would suggest you teach Allison some social skills and not to yell over the top of people and wave her arms around like a mad women, in order to stop them talking and for her to have her say, very very unpleasent and infuriating experience.
Not to me too that she blatenly lies to us over and over, after simply asking her that this was resolvable.
This so called visit to sydney uni vets to consult just a consult with a dermatologist$$$$$$$ 300 $$$$$$
Rang uni to see if they could get files from vet and see about this bug and to see before we spent more good money after bad, hoping they would, could understand and there answer was there’s no way we would tell you over the phone a thing.PATHETIC.. Read Less
