General Info
Crookwell Veterinary Hospital offers some of the most up-to-date veterinary facilities in regional New South Wales. A mixed rural practice, we have serviced the Crookwell, Goulburn and surrounding districts for over 30 years.
We run a 24/7 practice with a veterinarian on duty and available 365 days of the year – whether for emergencies, your furry best friend, a farm animal on your property, or injured wildlife. Our veterinarians have the professional skills, expertise and passion for treating both large and small animals. CVH surgical, x-ray and ultrasound facilities and in-house pathology lab enable onsite diagnostics and treatment.
Hospitalised pets stay in a comfortable and caring climate controlled environment, with separate dog and cat wards. For large animals, excellent stables and handling facilities are located on site.
We stock farm animal products, including vaccines and drenches, and a great range of pet accessories and high quality pet food.
We also run mobile clinics to outlying townships including Taralga, Bigga and Gunning.

I am so impressed by all the staff at Crookwell Veterinary Hospital. They truely care about animals and are so friendly and helpful. They offer really good and sensible advice. They don't up-sell or offer you things you dont need and their charges are very reasonable - very affordable compared to some other vets. I was impressed with the former owners and am thrilled the new owners are delivering a really great service.

It's hard to say that we loved CVH because of the circumstance, but the people and Jayde (I'm sorry if I spelt that wrong) made the saddest experience the best of what it could be. Our family (inc our three kids) came home from a trip away which was supposed to be our break from an awful year to find our baby girl terribly sick. Our family vet was unavailable and so we were referred to CVH. Jayde had no appointments but on our description said she would make time. We went in and had our greatest fear confirmed, our little girl, at almost 13 years old, had a ruptured tumor in her spleen. Jayde and her team respectfully gave us all of our options and gave us time to make our decision, they brought in paper and pens for our kids, they allowed them to run in the yard and stayed with us when we needed. Jayde had never met our girl before, but treated her with the greatest respect and helped us to give her a peaceful goodbye. Today, not even a week later and our family is all still devastated - we received the most beautiful card in the mail from the CVH team. The compassion from CVH and thoughtfulness was so wonderfull and unexpected given that we had never met any of them before. Thank you, all of you, for making such a devastating day have some brightness to it xxx

I'm amazed at the kindness I was shown and the genuine willingness to help, from advice I was given to the help I received under the circumstances. I wasn't shown anything close to it locally. Will, you saved koa's life, she made it. I'm so grateful to you. You're amazing, you were so patient with me where I feel others would have been annoyed, and so too was the lady who first answered my call, I wish I could remember her name, but she was fantastic, guiding me through what I needed to do with the same patience will showed me. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. If I hadn't have come last night in the after hours I've no doubt Koa wouldn't have made it through the night. Very kind and beautiful people.

We recently had to say goodbye to our cat Capone. The team at Crookwell Vets were extremely sympathetic and considerate. They treated our cat and us with respect and care. They are a friendly team who go out of their way to help and assist. Their personal touches (I received a heartfelt card after the loss of Pony) show that they genuinely to care about their clients! I am so glad that my animals are under their care. I highly recommend the team at Crookwell Vets! Thanks so much!

I am so impressed by all the staff at Crookwell Veterinary Hospital. They truely care about animals and are so friendly and helpful. They offer really good and sensible advice. They don't up-sell or offer you things you dont need and their charges are very reasonable - very affordable compared to some other vets. I was impressed with the former owners and am thrilled the new owners are delivering a really great service.

It's hard to say that we loved CVH because of the circumstance, but the people and Jayde (I'm sorry if I spelt that wrong) made the saddest experience the best of what it could be. Our family (inc our three kids) came home from a trip away which was supposed to be our break from an awful year to find our baby girl terribly sick. Our family vet was unavailable and so we were referred to CVH. Jayde had no appointments but on our description said she would make time. We went in and had our greatest fear confirmed, our little girl, at almost 13 years old, had a ruptured tumor in her spleen. Jayde and her team respectfully gave us all of our options and gave us time to make our decision, they brought in paper and pens for our kids, they allowed them to run in the yard and stayed with us when we needed. Jayde had never met our girl before, but treated her with the greatest respect and helped us to give her a peaceful goodbye. Today, not even a week later and our family is all still devastated - we received the most beautiful card in the mail from the CVH team. Will, you saved koa's life, she made it. I'm so grateful to you. You're amazing, you were so patient with me where I feel others would have been annoyed, and so too was the lady who first answered my call, I wish I could remember her name, but she was fantastic, guiding me through what I needed to do with the same patience will showed me.
