Quite simply the best vet practice ever! A dedicated team of professionals who always go the extra mile and obviously love what they do. Geoff saved our dog's life five years ago through his extraordinary skills as a surgeon. Whether it's a pop in visit to pick up flea treatment, an annual check up and vaccination or a full blown emergency, this team do it with care, amazing attention and oodles of love for their furry or feathered clients. Did I mention fun?! The happiest, cheeriest team you could hope to meet who also make the best cup cakes for their annual fund raiser for the Sydney Dog & Cat Home. Used to love this place, slowly the vets seem to have become more and more obsessed with the upsell of pointless blood tests and checks rather than just caring about animals. The Geoff guy who started it appears to be MIA at least at the double bay office. I don't question their care and love of animals or in fact their ability it just feels a bit sterile these days compared to maybe 7-10 years ago. I guess that's just one of the signs of expansion, some areas start to slip. I have started to look for another vet where a more one on one relationship is formed rather than a new person on the desk and a new vet every time you go. All in all a great vet but the personalised feel has gone, hope this feedback helps you with you business as it continues to grow. A great caring team of vets and their assistants lead by the owner Geoff Golovsky. My adopted cat Miso had her teeth cleaned and fortunately had to have only one removed. Unlike another vet who wanted to remove them all, Geoff prescribed the right cat food and water additive and a year later her teeth are perfectly clean. Since we got our Groodle Jackson (we also have a Spoodle Reggie) we have been to a few vets in the eastern suburbs over the past two years . However since finding Vet HQ I can say we have never had a bad experience no matter what vet we have seen! You cant put a price on your animals heath and the level of care, recommendations and general interest in your pet is shown time and time again from Geoff and the Vet HQ team. An insane place full of amateur vets who are an embarrassment to animal welfare standards. The surgery is owned and directed by a misleading entrepreneur whose goals are purely financial. It€s a great place to have your pet diagnosed by Dr Google. My dog died under the care of these incompetents and then they tried to lie about it. We can't thank you enough. We took our beautiful old dog here as she was suffering from a painful front leg. Geoff immediately spotted that one of her hips was larger than the other. Very sadly for us we had taken her in for pain relief for arthritis and it turned out she had cancer. Geoff and his team did everything they could to make her life comfortable including home visits and endless out of hours email and phone support. I felt very much supported when I had to to make the awful decision to say goodbye. Geoff again went above and beyond, coming to our home and letting her pass away very peacefully in her bed with us cuddling her and then sending us a beautiful bunch of flowers and hand written card. It was lovely that he cared so much about Guinness and was so sympathetic to our feelings. Read Less

We have used Geoff Golovsky at Vet HQ since it opened in about 2007. We now have quite elderly pets - a 16 year old Maltese and a 17 year old cat. The dog requires intensive medication, He has quite severe, lip threatening medical problems. Geoff and Karen have provided wonderful veterinarian services. Basil lives a high quality life thanks to the services he has received. A caring practice that provides a wide range of services making it pretty much a one stop shop. Read Less

Geoff and his team are so wonderful! I quite literally wouldn't trust ANYONE else with my dog Charlie. Charlie has had a lifetime of medical issues and surgeries and Geoff has always done the absolute best job. Every surgery has gone perfectly. I have been going to this vet for the past 8 years and have always experienced the best quality care for my dog. Geoff and all the other vets are extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. My dog has had 2 operations with them and each time she has received quality care during and after the operations with follow up phone calls even at night to see how she's doing. If you are looking for a new vet then Vet HQ is for you! Geoff and his entire team are not only incredibly experienced and knowledgeable but they are so friendly and helpful. The level of care they offer is no doubt the best going around. Whenever my dogs have had a procedure there are always multiple follow up phone calls to see how they are doing, making sure everything is ok. They always have the best advice and most advanced and up to date treatments, procedures or medications. It's always an absolute pleasure visiting Vet HQ.
