Greencross vet at Wollongong charged me $940 & pulled teeth from my dog that upon my personal visual looked 80% fine. On top refused to show me my dogs paid for X-ray's. I'll avoid these Butchers from now on.

Wonderful staff. Brett, in particular was brilliant with my boy Coco, who had surgery and had to stay in doggy hospital to recover. Brett kept me up dated and posted on Coco's op, what was wrong, how he was going post op. Very professional and courteous.

Had an after hours public holiday emergency, vet came in and helped us out. He was polite knowledgeable and seemed to really care. I don't remember his name unfortunately but I was really happy.

The staff are compassionate and commited to the animals. I first went there late one night after finding a hit Rottweiler by a roadside. I was given the number and rang. The duty vet stayed back after closing just to take care of the dog even though I said it was not mine and they would have to track down the owner to be payed.

Only go here if you want impersonal service and then to be charged extortionate fees for the privilege. Very overpriced service provider compared to others in the Illawarra

Unconscionable DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. This practice is outrageous. They have no concern for animals only their profit margins. They sell defective products and do not abide by Australian Consumer Law.
I am a disabled pensioner with two cats, I went to purchase flea treatments from this vet just before christmas 2016 and was recommended the most expensive product that not only protected against fleas but worms as well. I was told it would last at least a month and was advised it was the best product to use. They asked for my details (pets name and address) and looked it up on the computer, as i have been there before for vaccination of one of my cats. A sticker with my pets name and my address was printed on the receipt. The treatment did not work despite being administered correctly. The fleas were back within a few days appearing to be worse than before. The pack claimed to protect against adult fleas and larvae for one month. There was no exceptions to the guarantee of its efficacy.
I rang Greencross to ask why it didnt work and was told they had no record of my purchase or any information about me or my cats on file at all. They said my only option was to come and buy another pack (over $60 )and when i said i couldn't afford to, due to being disabled and unable to work, but my cats were suffering, i was told to "flea bomb the house". ????
The product was defective or faulty and did not do as it claimed it would. Had i known it may not work i would not have purchased the product. The product did not do what i asked for. I am entitled to a refund or exchange under the fair trading act and consumer law. I am making a complaint to the ombudsman. Do not use this vet.

The duty vet stayed back after closing just to take care of the dog even though I said it was not mine and they would have to track down the owner to be payed.
