However they methodically went through all the medical reasons for her issue and have answered the questions regarding the anomalies with her health. Now we have a very good understanding of what is needed to keep her healthy in her maturing years.

My local friends said Janelle is the only vet you ever ever want to see there. The others can do flu shots. The sweet receptionist girl is gone. Poor dogs and cats with ticks and snakes died there because other staff had no idea when Janelle is not working. They often asked owners to pay more for tests and medicines, but still had no idea what to do with test results and the poor animals suffer and pass away.

It saddens me to give this place 1 star as I have been here many times before and had good experiences. Unfortunately due to poor management this place has gone downhill. There are only a few good vets left here (Janelle and yen) so if you're going to go in see them. Otherwise this is a very poorly managed clinic. Called them to follow up on my pets history for an insurance claim to find out the vet that saw my pet hadn't even written it up in notes and I called a week later!! Weekend staff aren't properly trained so whatever happens on the weekends is done poorly because they aren't supervised. This is a huge red flag and a massive duty of care issue. A Dog was left outside and managed to escape and was later found dead because It got hit by a car. It's disgusting. It is really a shame to write this because it used to be such a great clinic, now the very few great people who are left are squashed by management's lack of leadership and lack of knowledge on how to run a successful clinic. Please, save your money and go somewhere else that you can trust.

Strongly not recommend this hospital. My cat has some Urinary diseases , he becomes going to the littler quite often and each time pee a long time with little blood on his penis. I took him there at 11:30 in the midnight as it is quite emergency. Tim examined my cat and told me my cat's bladder is full and needs to be sedated and insert catheter for at least 24 hours while staying hospital. It is my first time to see emergency lucky I did check the price with him. still can not believe what happened. He gave me a quote at $1800, which is totally not affordable. I rang my breeder and found that my cat actually is not as that bad condition as Ti m said, he is eating and drinking well running around upper and lower floor. All he needs is only antibiotics and prescription food. But no matter how hard I beg him, he just does not agree to give me antibiotics and watching my pet dying.So I said I will bring him to another emergency, then the nurse came in , both of them are so cold and inhuman suggesting me to give my cat Euthanasia, that is so cruel I will not let it happen. It is not a fatal disease and I noticed early. A simple and less painful way by using antibiotics could cure it easily, why do I want my boy suffer that a lot? I cried and begged him to give my boy some antibiotics, no, nothing was given. Finally I paid him $600 instead and did the fluid and catheter. When I came to pick him up next day morning, my cat is really weak, both arms are shaved and I can see the blood outside, penis really swollen. I take him to another hospital, just as what I thought, his bladder is empty and was given an antibiotics shot and prescription food. This is not what Tim said he needs to staying hospital for 24 hours and continue using catheter. His cage bottom is wet and I ask them is that water or urine? They do not know. They just do not care pets at all. So careless and money driven only.

Our dog got tick poisoning and was very anxious about staying there, they called me when she was fretting and set up comfortable chair and gave me a pillow and blanket to stay there with her. She was near to death, high temperatures and trouble breathing. She needed 4 days hospitisation. She was treated with the very best top quality care. Sensational vet hospital, fantastic great pricing for outstanding valuable veterinarian care. Every type of pet gets the best care here.

Not very happy with their treatment of our cat, He was in trouble with urinary problems. That kept him for several days during which he managed to remove 4 catheters. Eventually they charged $3200 & suggested we take him to the Small Animal Specialist Hospital in North Ryde where his problem was diagnosed & treated satisfactorily. Their charge was also over $3000 but they did the job. He is now effectively cured. on a special diet for urinary infections & they gave extensive advice on future care for which we are very grateful.
UPDATE Unfortunately the treatment at SASH has also proved ineffective and He passed away on March 24th 2016 - sadly missed.

You all have been wonderful in your support and obvious passion for animals. The fact you provide feedback and updates 24/7 is just amazing and so important for pet owners like me. Special appreciation for the wonderful Dr Lisa Nivison who looked after Lily after a car accident 20 months ago, helping her to recover from a dislocated hip and crushed pelvis! & has seen her regularly since then for Lily's chronic arthritis. Lisa was also there at the end when on Wednesday last we had to make the agonising decision to ask her to put our beloved Lily to sleep. But no matter how hard I beg him, he just does not agree to give me antibiotics and watching my pet dying.So I said I will bring him to another emergency, then the nurse came in , both of them are so cold and inhuman suggesting me to give my cat Euthanasia, that is so cruel I will not let it happen. It is not a fatal disease and I noticed early. A simple and less painful way by using antibiotics could cure it easily, why do I want my boy suffer that a lot? I cried and begged him to give my boy some antibiotics, no, nothing was given. Finally I paid him $600 instead and did the fluid and catheter. When I came to pick him up next day morning, my cat is really weak, both arms are shaved and I can see the blood outside, penis really swollen. I take him to another hospital, just as what I thought, his bladder is empty and was given an antibiotics shot and prescription food. This is not what Tim said he needs to staying hospital for 24 hours and continue using catheter. His cage bottom is wet and I ask them is that water or urine? They do not know. They just do not care pets at all. So careless and money driven only.

She was near to death, high temperatures and trouble breathing. She needed 4 days hospitisation. She was treated with the very best top quality care. Not very happy with their treatment of our cat, He was in trouble with urinary problems. That kept him for several days during which he managed to remove 4 catheters. Eventually they charged $3200 & suggested we take him to the Small Animal Specialist Hospital in North Ryde where his problem was diagnosed & treated satisfactorily. Their charge was also over $3000 but they did the job. He is now effectively cured. on a special diet for urinary infections & they gave extensive advice on future care for which we are very grateful.
UPDATE Unfortunately the treatment at SASH has also proved ineffective and He passed away on March 24th 2016 - sadly missed.

Very friendly and competent staff. Very easily reachable with both public transport or car, parking is never a problem. And as of recently they are open around the clock, overall, hard to beat

I just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful care you have provided to my cat Philipp a couple of weeks ago. He needed to stay for a couple of nights after a tic treatment. You all have been wonderful in your support and obvious passion for animals. The fact you provide feedback and updates 24/7 is just amazing and so important for pet owners like me. Special appreciation for the wonderful Dr Lisa Nivison who looked after Lily after a car accident 20 months ago, helping her to recover from a dislocated hip and crushed pelvis! & has seen her regularly since then for Lily's chronic arthritis. Lisa was also there at the end when on Wednesday last we had to make the agonising decision to ask her to put our beloved Lily to sleep. Eternal gratitude to you Lisa for your exceptional care of Lily & sympathetic support of us over a long period of time. The Van Klaveren & Fowler families xo
