i say i'm worried about my dog and need a quote for a procedure weve been told she needs he is arrogant rude and fed up before i even get to finish my sentence
he answers that the prices i've been given aren't unreasonable and scoffs at me as an uneducated layperson. i explain i was not suggesting anything is unreasonable but that i just wanted to compre prices as a working full time student with financial limits.
he is an unapologetic arrogant man and other reviews have mirrored this. you are still a business treating customers like that is unacceptable

I recently moved to Glebe and visited this clinic today for the first time. My mastiff has hip dysplasia so I've seen many vets before but I must admit this was my worst experience so far: the VERY annoyed attitute the doctor showed when my dog was not happy to be visited made me fell extremely unwelcome. He did not even try touching my dog so it was a complete waste of time. I guess I'll just stick to my previous vet and reccomend everyone to think twice before going, especially if you have a big dog. Read Less

If you care about your pet, don't bring it here. It's ok for an emergency or a last minute thing, but you will not get high level of care or interest from the people working here.
The doctors always change, the receptionist is very rude and impatience.
Last time I've been there to desex my cat I was very worried about the consequences and I was asking few questions. The receptionist (a very rude lady) kept cutting me off and not replying to my questions and she was very eager to get the money and not care about my worries. Also I didn't see any love for my cat or any other animal in there.
If you are looking for a vet near by, check Pyrmont or Newtown, but Glebe Vet Hospital is not a good option. Read Less

If you are seeking something local then this is perhaps adequate for vaccinations and basic needs. Unfortunately the staff are changed without notice based on availability and while I requested and was promised the veterinarian I sought, on arrival to my last visit with a much loved Labrador with an injured knee, the receptionist said she got it wrong and yet another unknown was there. I was too polite to just walk out so incurred the cost of seeing someone who was not a specialist in large animals and charged me to fondle his leg and tell me she needed to refer me to the vet I had expected to see on that day. The dog has always been a large dog. I don't know why a practice wouldn't advertise its areas of specialisation if that exists. Don't wait until we have tipped into the hundreds of dollars on a single issue over a period of 12 days and then announce that they will be referring me elsewhere anyway. Why not when I called, explaining the issue, was I not referred to a large dog specialist? Disappointed. Yet, in fairness, I am only one client so this is reflective of one experience. That said, if I had wanted to have my beloved see a different vet on each and every occasion I would have gone to the University of Sydney, a teaching hospital, where that would be the norm. Very, very sad and very, very out of pocket. I would have left one star if not for a sense of fairness and charity.Read Less
