Our cat was hit by a car and killed recently, and a Good Samaritan neighbour took him to Glenhaven Veterinary Hospital to be identified so that we could be notified. We are not clients of this Veterinary Hospital but the help we were given by staff member Sandra to deal with our shock and distress was truly amazing. She was so thoughtful and empathetic in the way she broke the news to me over the phone, helped us view our cat in the surgery and talked to us about him. There was no rush - she was happy to give us as much time as we needed even though it was close to closing time. It was also beautiful the way she had him wrapped up and presented so peacefully. Sandra is a wonderful asset and human face to this practice. Her interpersonal skills and professionalism in handling this sad occasion were truly extraordinary and went well above and beyond the call of duty. It is reassuring to know that such good and caring people exist in this world. I have no hesitation in recommending this Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for wonderful human beings providing the best care for animals. Read Less
