Hi Julian, picked up Betty this afternoon after her surgery and are utterly amazed at how well she is. We thought she would be sore and sorry but you wouldn't know she's had anaesthesia/surgery. Trying to keep her quiet to no avail.....walking around purring and jumping on us; playing - it's as if today's procedure was a walk in the park for her. I'm actually excited to take my puppy here again for her final vaccination . Daft Daffy is a Maltese Shitzu and my first real pet . Dr Julian Smith  is the second Vet I've met and I  just know he is the one.  He is warm , introduced himself and answered questions. Actually the information was overload but it shows his care for animals .  Daffy was having a vaccination , worming tablet.  He cut her nails and trimmed her hair  , Front and Back !!!!  Because I asked him to.  All part of the Consultaion which was $107 . Before my appointment they asked me to bring in a stool sample from Daffy and I left with a little Blue Book for her to diarise her treatments . It's a community feel inside the waiting room. The receptionist is lovely. They sell dog kibble  food that is produced by a local that other customers said was cheaper than the supermarkets .  They care about animals over profits . Read Less

Our experiences with Julian and the staff have been brilliant they deal with my usually loveable and affectionate Jack Russell, except when at the vet (she growls at the staff and Julian a little muzzle and reassurance helps with that) When our 16 year old cat had to be euthanased Julian and and the staff were very sensitive and empathetic wrapping her in sheet so we could take her home to bury her and sending us a lovely sympathy card. I've taken my beloved dog here twice over the last two years and have been very happy with the service and more importantly the vet.The vet is thorough, precise and very helpful.  He is more then happy to take the time to listen and answer your questions.I have been to other vets in the past several years where you are in and out in a matter of minutes and really don't want to spend the time to listen to your queries or your concerns.You might find that you have to wait a little bit longer then your scheduled puppy appointment, but it's no biggie.Great service and a very friendly and genuine vet! Called to get an appointment on the day. They fitted me in no problems. I got there pretty much on time and no waiting. I was straight in. My brave little cat took the needles like a trooper. I was out of there within 10 minutes. No fuss. They consulted me with questions regarding what vaccination I wanted for my cat and explained in simple terms what my options were.
