I consider this vet clinic and their staff as an extension of my family. We have been seeing them for 30 years and they have taken exceptional care of our pets (and us!) the entire time. They show empathy, understanding, and have a true interest in the well being of their patients and families. Going to the vet can be stressful for both pets and their owners, but St George Animal Hospital have held our hand through good times and bad. They expressed their condolences during the toughest times of our lives (losing a pet) and handled it with such tact and empathy. They made a devastating process one filled of compassion and care with true displays of sympathy and understanding. They have always checked in with our pets thoroughly, never judge and explain things in a relatable, yet professional matter. They will take into consideration your financial situation, and you can tell they are not just about getting money out of you. They want to provide the best care for your pets to the best of their ability, within the realm of understanding the financial toll this can take on certain owners. Their range of vets allow you to discover which vet you prefer regarding their approach (some are straight to the point, some are more gentle, some in-between) which is great as each person and their pet have different ways of relating to their doctor. The nurses and staff are always kind and bubbly, and have always treated us with the upmost respect. I would recommend ANYONE to this animal hospital. Thank you St George Animal Hospital for your many years of service to our family and our community. You guys do amazing work :) Read Less

I would have to say this veterinary practice is amazing. The staff are welcoming, supporting and caring. They are the most cheapest place to go in terms of consultations in the St. George area alongside Carlton vet practice. They give me an in-depth explanation of any problems with my animal and ensure that I understand the situation. I recently had my dog undergo surgery here to remove her uterus as she had a really bad infection. The vet would show my dogs x-rays and compare a normal uterus to my dog's infected uterus. The difference was quite substantial and sad. The uterus infection had taken control of my dogs behaviour and appetite. She was completely quiet and would walk slowly or sit down. Thanks to the amazing vets at this practice, my dog is healthy and running around enjoying life now more than ever. I will always be forever grateful. Thank you for saving my dogs life. Read Less
