I came in because my cockatiel's leg was broken After waiting for an hour and a half for an emergency call in We were visited by a veterinary nurse who after asking for my help she still didn't have the skill to put a wrap around the birds leg to prevent biting and said as 'my birds leg was too broken to be splinted and the risk too high as he would have to go under anesthetic twice after it didn't work,' that they should cut my cockatiel's leg off in a procedure that involved anesthetic which she warned could be fatal for a small bird. I agreed to the procedure to be done in 2 days later. The next day I went to another vet who easily splinted my birds leg up without aesthetic and the leg survived and he has now regained full use. The quality of life of my bird would have been severely diminished without the use of his two legs because of the clinic's substandard advice and knowledge. Bottom line: Don't come here for avian visits Read Less

Great service, very kind excellent vet....BUT the place was FILTHY our pet was put on a wire grate table, with a towel on it, I lifted the towel to look at the unusual tub underneath and on the grate was matted with bloody hair and on the bottom of the tub was fresh blood spatter, also on the dirty towel. On further investigation I found all the equipment caked in dirt and grime, dials and displays on machines and intibation/IV tubes dangling on the floor with scum and blood buildup on them, dirty shelves, just very dirty in general. It was a real shame because we were seen to in a most professional manner. I would love to come back but would never have my pets operated on in such a dirty contaminated environment. Honestly I have seen mechanics that were far cleaner. Read Less
