I have been seeing Dr Warren Davis for more than 20 years and have found him the most caring and gentle man, I am very sad that this man is not working at the moment. I wish him all the best for a speedy recovery (Chica just loves him). This rating is not for Dr Warren or the practice but for the new female vet who has taken over there is no compassion, her main concern is to sell you many more products before she even examines the dog. Then raises the fees and forgets about seniors discount. Read Less

I took my 6yr old cat Gingie into the clinic early last weekend as he had come home the night before and had his front leg held up close to his chest and was crying in pain every time he moved. He would not put any kind of pressure on the leg what so ever. I have recently moved to the area and thought it would not be in my cats best interest given the circumstances and how much pain he was in to travel him half an hour to my usual vet. So I decided to look at reviews on the 2 vet clinics near my house. Dr Warren stood out, there were some really good reviews so I decided to take Gingie there the next morning. Dr Warren ran some tests and he found quite quickly that we had a pretty serious problem. Gingie had badly fractured his humerus but he was showing very little signs of feeling and very little motor response in the leg. Dr Warren kept him in overnight for more testing and X-rays and rang me the next day and asked me to come in to discuss my options. It was clear Gingie had extensive nerve damage to the leg along with the fracture. My options were to wait and see if the leg heals itself, operate and pin the bone but it will be unknown for weeks if not months as to how much if any of the nerve will heal. He explained if it didn't, the cat would in turn drag the leg causing more issues and if this happened we would have to end up amputating the leg, my final option was to amputate the leg now. Dr Warren took so much time explaining things in detail to me, I was sent home completely loaded with all my information to make an extremely hard decision. After a sleepless night and a lot of thinking, I opted for the surgery to pin the bone. I called Dr Warren the next morning and advised of my decision and he supported me and booked My cat in for surgery straight away. I got a call late that evening to advise me how the surgery went and that he would have to stay in hospital for the rest of the week to stay quiet and have some recovery time. Today I went to pick my beautiful boy up and again, Dr Warren was so much help. He showed me photos of the surgery and the damaged nerve and suggested I keep him inside for the next few weeks and if I am not home to keep him in a crate as he didn't want him jumping on and off beds etc incase he rebroke the bone and pin. I told him I didn't have a crate so I would have to go buy one, he then organised the vet nurse to go out back and fetch a crate that I could borrow for the 4-6week recovery period. I offered to leave a deposit so he knew I would return it and he would not hear of it. He told me to take it and he trusted I would bring it back. He walked me to the front reception counter so I could pay the dreaded bill. He then advised that he had discounted the bill and wouldn't charge me any hospital overnight fees and also discounted $125 off the surgery. He also wants to see my cat in a weeks time for a follow up and also a few times after that so we can work on different physiotherapy techniques that I can use to stimulate the nerve to grow back and repair. I was completely amazed at the high level of customer service and down right human kindness Dr Warren has provided to me and my sick cat. I will indeed be making the switch for all 4 of my boys from my previous vet to Dr Warren. I honestly can't recommend him enough. Thank you Dr Warren for your kindness and generosity and most of all thank you for taking care of my boy. He is home tonight and getting very spoilt and thanks to you, he doesn't seem to be in much pain at all.Read Less
