I have been taking my two greyhounds as needed to this vet and in the past the vet I have dealt with and vet nurse/assistant were incredibly lovely, understanding, helpful and even the follow up was nothing short of caring as my dog was diagnosed with cancer.
I called today to try and get a last minute appointment, which I understand they were being accommodating, however the manner in which my interaction with Shane Sullivan can only be described as extremely disappointing, he honestly did not represent the business or what I've come to know of the vets well at all, he was nothing short of rude.
After stating a consult is $80 plus $90 on top to write a script which I have not heard of a script to cost that much I expressed my concern, he abruptly interrupted and said what I'll do is not book you in and leave it at that and hung up.
I called back to say that he had hung up on me and he said in a sarcastic tone "oh I thought we had finished the conversation" which no we had not, I was and would have liked to keep the appointment as my pet needs outweighed his rudeness but the way in which he responded I'd rather put a complaint in.
I've never had such a negative interaction anywhere in my life, I'm not one to write negative reviews but this was by far the most poor service I've experienced. Not only rude, nor understanding but also not caring of the fact my dog still requires a visit and decided himself he wasn't going to accept the business and hung up while I was still speaking. Absolutely terrible. Which is such a shame because I personally love the other vet and other lovely lady who works there. Just an extremely bad egg who is not suited to customers or phones from his tone and response.
A quick google and I realise you are the head vet. Leave the phone to someone else because you have lost this customer for good and I'm certain from reading the other Google reviews lost others. If you are busy simply say I am quite busy, can we call you back or simply say this the best we can offer.
Absolutely a terrible experience and thankful he wasn't the vet on duty when I took my boys in as I can only imagine how uncaring and non compassionate he can be when it comes to things such as finding out your dog has cancer

Can't praise this clinic enough. They are friendly,helpful and caring. Take time out to explain everything. Love their fur patients like their own and Amber and Leanne treat you like old friends every time you are there.They make you comfortable with any decisions you might need to make.
I will not take my babies to anyone else.

Paul and all his staff are all fantastic, passionate and very caring with all the animals they see. They have looked after my German Shepherd until his death and I can't fault their care or treatments...
Paul and all his staff are all fantastic, passionate and very caring with all the animals they see. They have looked after my German Shepherd until his death and I can't fault their care or treatments needed to keep Axle fit & healthy.
I would highly recommend them for anyone with any pets...
