Disappointing to say the least. My consultation at Morisset Vet by the Vet showed lack of concern to my puppy's skin irritation and outbreak. I prompted the Vet multiple times to 'look again please' & asked 'how can you not see that'. I booked this appt to seek the opinion and professional advise but I didn't receive this. I walked out paying a $75 consultation fee for nothing, I received common knowledge from the Vet, to shampoo my puppy with an over the counter medicated shampoo (even I knew to do this). I explained several times to the Vet why I was at the appointment, the Vet commented and said she could not see a problem. She said 'to treat the lesions...." I then said, oh so you found lesions, and then she replied, "no there are no lesions". I was confused. I drove home with my puppy as the appointment was useless. I phoned Morisset Vet the next day as I was upset by the lack of service from the Vet. I spoke to the Vet Nurse who answered the phone, (who was very professional, patient and concerned about my experience), she said the Practice Manager was not in until 11am and I will receive a call back. I didn't receive a call back. My daughter called to follow up in the afternoon, the Vet Nurse apologised and said she was really busy but she spoke to the Manager and offered another appointment with a different Vet at the Practice, so another appointment at $75, so $150 in total when I should of received a professional service in the first visit. I went to my local pet shop with my puppy and received informative advice re: it may be your grass, his diet, they advised me to only shampoo 2 times a week as 3 times a week will destroy the natural oils in his coat/skin. They questioned whether the Vet took a swab of his skin? I replied "no, she didn't even ask/offer that?". I received more information and advice from the staff at my local pet shop then the Vet at Morisset Vet. Read Less
