My pet Fish died from an infection yesterday, I tried my best to do whatever was possible to get my pet better . Called many places and was given advice by various experts saying that a VET would help me with a prescription of antibiotic for my sick fish( makes sense). So I proceeded to call around my local vets . The feedback I got from this place was very unhelpful , their reason is that they need to see the sick fish ( point taken but hardly realistic) . How was I suppose...d to make that happen ? A 20cm diameter Amazonian Discus who lives at 31 degree temperature water, if you understood their fragile environment you wouldn’t have made that question. Anyway, my fish is dead from the undue stress of me trying to net him plus the infection. I would’ve done anything to Save another life or at least have protocols on what to do as this isn’t an isolated issue for fish lovers here in Australia. Your lack of empathy for a sick animal is disappointing. Now a family has lost one of their pets and left to feel like nothing could be done unless I followed your demands . At the end of the day animals don’t carry the blame for human sillines, they only pay with their lives for it . See More Read Less
