Have never had such an awful experience as with this vet clinic. Vet was so horribly rude and inconsiderate with her words and said only owners of dogs on death row can be visited when i asked to visit my dog who had a tick that had been hospitalised for 2 nights already. A loved member of our family, no updates i had to ring them, given different stories. Went with my gut feeling and brought him home and he was able to drink even though they said he could not. I have never been so upset than experiencing such poor wording and lack of compassion.

We have been taking our kids (small dogs) along to Mount Hutton Vet Hospital for the last 10 years and would not take them anywhere else. We have always found "Uncle Ray" and the staff to be friendly, caring and compassionate at all times. Advice was comprehensive and charges very reasonable.
They were very supportive when our little girl Gigi died and we could not have asked for more from the team there.

We were worried about our rabbit. Took him here and they told us he was fine. Less than 48 hours he was almost dead and we had to put him down. All up it cost us $114 for our rabbit to suffer and then die. Disappointing. It was clear that not all vets specialise in smaller pets and our rabbit had to suffer like he did.

I have been coming here for years with my dog and cat and can confidently call this vet clinic fantastic.
The nurses are always friendly and supportive - whether on the phone or in the waiting room, they make sure everything runs like clockwork and is communicated properly.
The clinic itself is updated and clean, as well as comfortable for both me and my animals. It also has a lot of modern equipment so that test and procedures can be done in-house faster alongside the regular consultation.
As for the vets, they are truly brilliant. I am always treated like an individual and my animals are met with loving and affectionate care. They have always handled our cases with the utmost integrity and professionalism, and do not over-charge for it. They have also always been honest and open with me, and allowed me to direct the way things would go.
My overall experience with Mt Hutton has been trusting, personal and rewarding, and I would definitely recommend it.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a vet and I have had my share of experience with different vets as my dog suffers from arthritis and is required to have shots every three months. It started bad the moment I walked in, there was no one on the front desk greeting people so I took a seat at exactly 2pm for my 2pm appointment. Finally at 2:15 pm someone came out to help another customer finish their appointment asked me who I was, weighed my dog then told me to take a seat, no welcome to Mt Hutton pet hospital just take a seat. The hospital itself was dated with ripped vinyl in the chairs and the consultation rooms were small boxes with no window.
At 2:30pm the vet, Dr Dario Conesa, finally came out and told me it was my turn half an hour late. He was far from personable and was extremely hesitant around my dog. My dog didnt like him at all and I promise you my dog loves people, he has never had an issue with any other vet until today. When my dog reacted in pain to him feeling his hind legs and belly he complained that he almost got bitten which was far from the truth, my dog barked and yelped. Finally when he went to give him the needle he couldnt even get it in to the point I even offered to put it in there. All of this and it still cost me $108 for a $40 shot. I will never visit this vet again and recommend looking elsewhere.

Have never had such an awful experience as with this vet clinic. Vet was so horribly rude and inconsiderate with her words and said only owners of dogs on death row can be visited when i asked to visit my dog who had a tick that had been hospitalised for 2 nights already. We have been taking our kids (small dogs) along to Mount Hutton Vet Hospital for the last 10 years and would not take them anywhere else. We have always found "Uncle Ray" and the staff to be friendly, caring and compassionate at all times. Advice was comprehensive and charges very reasonable.

The nurses are always friendly and supportive - whether on the phone or in the waiting room, they make sure everything runs like clockwork and is communicated properly.
