Thank you to Murwillumbah Vet Clinic for giving us a real diagnose on my Aussie Bulldogs back leg. Max has been to multiple vets around the world and had many x-rays, scans on his back leg and no one could ever tell us what the problem was and why he limped when he ran. Finally, we returned to Australia and I took Max to the clinic to get a very detailed reason as to why he limps. It seems he has a very minor fracture in his ankle that makes it difficult for him to bend when running. Now we know its not his hips, or ligaments we can manage it accordingly. Read Less

Please do not go to this vet clinic. The head vet nurse has found to be dumping greyhounds at the local pound. The vet clinic knows about this. The head vet nurse breeds and races greyhound and the disposes of them when they are not not 'useful'. I would never trust such a callous person to look after my animals, and I wouldn't trust a vet clinic that continues to emply such a heartless, vile human being. She should not be near any animals! Robyn McCalman is the vet nurse who breeds and races greyhounds, and has dumped a number of them at the local pound. Her excuse was that adoption groups didn't have room and well he had a good life of 4.5 yrs (about one particular dog). She is the head vet nurse at Murwillumbah Vet Clinic, northern NSW. If you have friends and family in the area you may wish to let them know. They may not want to take their own animals to a clinic where one of the main staff members is involved in greyhound racing and has such a revolting and cavalier attitude to the destruction of beautiful, sentient beings. My cat Jeffrey was recently treated here when he somehow gashed open his tummy on barbed wire, or tin or another animal's teeth. They were very busy at the Clinic when I brought him in, but they looked after him quickly, professionally and with great care. He is doing really well and sends his love. Read Less

The clinic staff have a beautiful nature. Oinky our mini pig when in to get desexed and a nose ring. The kept him over night free of charge. They looked after him very well. Oinky is home in front of a fan and has eaten tons and has been drinking lots of water. I strongly recommend this clinic to eveyone who is needing a vet. Murwillumbah vets are caring and kind people even though I only go once a year with my beautiful queen (Tabitha) I love there new cat clinic room, my queen made herself right at home, she wasn't stressed or upset she was the best little cat ever! I wouldn't dream of taking my precious Gracie to any other Vet surgery than Murbah Vet Clinic and believe me in the first 15 years of being on the Gold Coast I had been to some doozies! Gracie is only with us today because Lauren saved Gracie's life in the early hours of May 2013 & never, ever gave up on her. The sharing of information on your pet between the Vets (at the time, Stephanie) is another massive plus & something I had not been experiencing at the Vet I had been attending in Tweed for just on two years. When I first met Steph and she said she had been reading Gracies file the night before to catch up on treatment and where Lauren and the Specialist was up to I was so stunned, pleased, overjoyed and felt an absolute sense gratitude that Gracie was in such caring hands. I was listened to with my concerns, each diagnosis as Gracie was still so unwell, was carefully explained to me. I was never belittled because of my choice of Vet Specialist & Lauren & Steph did everything they could to assist with ththe appointments, tests, operation etc that had to take place north of Brisbane. Gracie is treated like a Princess (we are still frequent flyers) and I have always been made to feel so very very welcome by Lauren and Steph, Joan & new vet, the lovely Christine. Stephanie and her team worked tirelessly to give our beloved Yeshe the best quality of life possible for an elderly dog with mast cell tumor.
