I can highly recommend this vet! The staff is so nice, professional and knowledgeable. When we brought in our little dog to get de-sexed, they took such good care of him. We had to go back several times for a little check up on the wound and later to get the stitches removed. All the front desk ladies I met are so polite and outstanding at their job. They could all answer any of the questions I asked them and knew exactly what was happening with my dog without even having to look up his file on the computer. Similar, the two vets I talked to were both highly qualified and knowledgeable. The girls on the front desk are always friendly and helpful and I like the fact that no appointment is necessary. At first I thought that would mean long waiting times but I often walk straight in and the convenience of being able to just go down at a time that suits my working hours or when there is a problem is fabulous. I have developed a strong and trusting relationship with vet Louise Schaffer through her care of my beloved dog Jazmin. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Louise. She is knowledgeable, supportive, explains things really well, is always happy to help and is generally a lovely girl. Our beautiful 5 month old Bernese Mountain Dog Ziggy was sadly hit by a car, and as any pet owner will understand, the events that were to follow and stress felt throughout this time was very hard and emotional. In saying this, from the moment Ziggy arrived and went in to Dr Louise care, we knew that Ziggy was in very good hands, and was being looked after. Dr Louise stayed back that night until she had Ziggy stable and comfortable. She arranged for around the clock care and called us with numerous updates throughout the night. She was incredible - professional, calm, caring and reassuring! Over the next few weeks, i can not describe how amazing the staff at Sydney Animal Hospital were - They called every time they said they would, they allowed us to visit Ziggy when ever we wanted too, and never made us feel like we were in the way by doing so. Dr Ben looked over Ziggy's injuries regularly and was able to avoid any major operations, which for a large breed dog, was in Ziggy's best interest as a puppy. Over the period we visited Ziggy in hospital, we watched all the vet nursers and doctors care for Ziggy as well as seeing them care for all the other injured and sick animals - And i can tell you, they all put in so much energy and love to get all these furry friends back to good health. They never run out of cuddles to make their patients feel loved and looked after. What a great vet experience! They have recently changed management and the new vets and staff are so kind and caring......to both my dog, to me and to my children. Coco's treatment included a night in hospital. After the initial consult the staff kept me fully informed as to Coco's progress and she has now fully recovered. Coco was wagging her tail and licking staff as she left the hospital!! Highly recommend this hospital and certainly to anyone where their pet is another member of the family. Read Less

These guys were great~!! Looks like a whole new clinic and staff and they are fantastic - looked after Benson with real care and really knew what they were doing.
