I took one of my pet rats here (yes, pet rats!) when I suspected a respiratory infection, in hopes of them being able to have a look at her. Other places around have said no so I wasn't expecting them...
I took one of my pet rats here (yes, pet rats!) when I suspected a respiratory infection, in hopes of them being able to have a look at her. Other places around have said no so I wasn't expecting them to. It was urgent so I didn't have time to book a place specialising in exotic pets and waiting. The veterinarian was extremely kind and welcoming and looked at her straight away. He actually knew what he was talking about, too, so he didn't just lie and take me in to make money, as some might. He prescribed her medication and gave me helpful advice. Even called me later that day to tell me to make sure to keep her warm and out of drafts. Very kind, friendly and helpful and I'm so grateful for his service.

I’ve had to take my dog multiple times in the last couple of years and they have always been so professional and kind. They explain everything in detail that is happening and what needs to happen to make him better. I highly recommend Padstow Veterinary Clinic.

Our beloved cat developed strange red spots over his tummy. We took him to this vet for a few times and he couldn't diagnose him correctly. He gave us rubbing alcohol to put on those spots - apart fro...
Our beloved cat developed strange red spots over his tummy. We took him to this vet for a few times and he couldn't diagnose him correctly. He gave us rubbing alcohol to put on those spots - apart from unnecessarily hurting him, it did nothing. We took him to another vet, it turned out he was allergic to certain food and after putting him on a correct diet, those spots went away without the need of medication.
We also boarded our cat for 3 nights and the environment was atrocious. It was dark and filthy. Our cat had a horrible time - do not entrust your pet with him!

After nearly 2 years of health complications and a near-death experience our beloved pet is on the mend. Perhaps they tried their best, but their advice and treatment led us into further complications...
After nearly 2 years of health complications and a near-death experience our beloved pet is on the mend. Perhaps they tried their best, but their advice and treatment led us into further complications. Eventually when it seemed we most needed this vet's help, he told us he was unavailable. Then, after forcing us to seek other advice he suddenly turned on us - sharp abrupt and rude "why didn't you come to me?" after all we had been through together (and all the money they'd taken along the way!) I'm glad we now have a legitimate source of veterinary care!

His failure to record my dad's mobile number correctly, lead to my 4 year old Siberian Husky's death.
DO NOT TRUST YOUR PET'S LIFE WITH HIM.

Would not recommend this vet at all. Told me only way to make sure my dog is healthy is to lock them up in the backyard and never let them out....also started shouting at us when we asked for an invoi...
Would not recommend this vet at all. Told me only way to make sure my dog is healthy is to lock them up in the backyard and never let them out....also started shouting at us when we asked for an invoice showing us what the services were. The files of your pet are kept on scribbles of paper and when asked for a copy he got very angry and said we have no right to see his writing or report of what was the finding....WARNING STAY CLEAR

shocking absolutely shocking what vet would tell you to chain your dog for 8 hours if he has a sore tummy.

I took one of my pet rats here (yes, pet rats!) when I suspected a respiratory infection, in hopes of them being able to have a look at her. Other places around have said no so I wasn't expecting them to. It was urgent so I didn't have time to book a place specialising in exotic pets and waiting. The veterinarian was extremely kind and welcoming and looked at her straight away. He actually knew what he was talking about, too, so he didn't just lie and take me in to make money, as some might. Our beloved cat developed strange red spots over his tummy. We took him to this vet for a few times and he couldn't diagnose him correctly. He gave us rubbing alcohol to put on those spots - apart from unnecessarily hurting him, it did nothing. Told me only way to make sure my dog is healthy is to lock them up in the backyard and never let them out....also started shouting at us when we asked for an invoice showing us what the services were. The files of your pet are kept on scribbles of paper and when asked for a copy he got very angry and said we have no right to see his writing or report of what was the finding....WARNING STAY CLEAR
