General Info
Gordon Vet Hospital is an independently owned hospital that has been caring for pets in the Ku-Ring-Gai area for more than 40 years. We are located on the corner of Ryde Rd in Pymble. Our partners are Dr David Loneragan and Dr Scott Lackenby, who are both longstanding members of the GVH team. They are supported by a wonderful team of experienced Vets and Nurses, many of whom have been at GVH for more than 10 years. As a result, when you walk in the door you'll be greeted by a familiar face who knows you and your pet. It is a place where you and your pet are made to feel welcome.
Most of our Vets have further qualifications and are able to provide expert, up to date pet care and advice. David and Scott are both AQIS acreddited, meaning they can help you if you are planning on travelling overseas with your pet. Our Nurses are well qualified and have been selected fortheir ability to bond with your pet by showing genuine love and care. Our Reception Nurses have excellent customer service skills and an amazing ability toremember the names of owners and their pets, making you feel welcome.
For your convenience, GVH is fully equipped with all the facilities, expertise and equipment for professional pet care - all under one roof. This means immediate results for you and better patient pet care with less reliance on expensive referrals. On site we have two operating theatre's, digital Xray, ultrasound, dentistry, endoscopy and a laboratory with the latest technology.
In addition, we are here for you every day of the year with long opening hours and an After Hours service during the week. We have ample parking right at the front door and we also provide a Drop Off, House Call and Pick Up service. This means you can drop your pet off for a check up and pick them up later.
Gordon Vet Hospital also had new, spacious and comfortable 'Kitty Condos' for cat boarding. We have regular puppy training held at the hospital on Sunday mornings.

On behalf of my family, I wish to record our heart felt thanks for all the medical attention and assistance given by the Gordon Vet Hospital to our cat "Kitty" for over almost 2 decades. The ongoing advice and help given by John and David in particular to our cat's needs, allowed us many years of happiness with this special member of our family. When it came to the awful decision to have to put an end to Kitty's discomfort, both gentlemen were most understanding. We also have to thank all of the Hospital's staff for the flowers sent to us following that dark day.

One stop affordable vet for my puppy! I live locally and never realised these guys were there as they're hidden off the ramp heading from Ryde Rd to Pacific Hwy. I was looking for a vet to vaccinate my American staffy pup and these guys are fantastic. Pricing was great as the vaccination included a thorough health check consultation which other vets levy an additional charge for. The Vet (James) took his time, was very friendly, answered all my questions and provided recommendations too. Puppy bag with info, sample puppy food and leash was a nice touch. The front desk staff were also friendly and professional so not much else to ask for. Nice to have a first class, affordable vet locally.

A million thanks to Scott at Gordon vet hospital who stayed up most of the night on Monday night to operate on and then monitor our 4 month old cavoodle after she suffered an acute twisted bowel. Without Scott's immediate recognition of the problem and skilful management, there would no doubt have been a tragic outcome. Daisy is now home and recovering with her litter mate Milo. Thank you to Scott, Sam and the staff who saved her life.

Been going to Gordon Vet Hospital for as long as I can remember. Recently was on Saturday with our dog sick with an abscess, she was operated on and sent home (with full instructions and medication also a follow up appointment) within 5.5 hours. John (who treated my dog on Saturday) and the rest of the staff are fantastic at what they do and couldn't recommend them enough. Even after moving with a vet just around the corner from us, I will drive 25 minutes to keep going back to them.

I was looking for a vet to vaccinate my American staffy pup and these guys are fantastic. I cannot recommend Gordon vet more highly - over the years the wonderful vets and staff have provided incredible care to our animals. Their advice and treatment along the way has been outstanding. We have lost a couple of pets and had some very sick ones and the care and attention to our fur kids has been amazing! Thank you!

The team at Gordon vet are absolutely brilliant! From the moment you walk in the staff are super friendly, efficient and always willing to help. Definitely recommend Gordon Vet
