Thanks for Dr Chan treat my lovely girl's one mouth bad and dirty teeth. Because of her age (she is 15 years old) and the price (at least $1600), I once hesitated whether let her do the treatment. Well compare with other vet's price, dental fee always cost so much. And we believe it would be a better choice for her. Fortunately, after the operation just one day, my lovely girl become as active as before. Her mouth now smell good, and looks with better appetite. Excellent vet services provided here. I have been taking my dogs to Struggletown for many years and have been happy with the care given to my dogs in particular to my 14 year old who thanks to their care is still with us in spite of her many health issues. Don Chan is the best vet I have ever met. It's my first time to have a dog by myself, Dr Don has saved me from so many problems from the first day I got my puppy till now. We've been coming here for years with our pets. The best vets I've ever been too. Staff are very knowledgeable and caring with the animals. Prices are a bit steep though for what most of the time(for us anyway) is a 5-10 minute consultation and the medicines are much cheaper elsewhere. This is to thank Simon and Anthony for treating our 13-year old Viszla Jiggy. The initial diagnosis of lymphoma was a big shock but I knew straight away that our boy was in fantastic hands with the team at Struggletown. He was treated weekly at the practice and responded very well to the treatment which gave him an extended time of good quality life. My cat Buggy fell from my bathroom window which is 3 stories high! The vets and nurses at Struggletown were so good to receive us in the anxiety ridden and scared state we were in. It turned out Buggy had fractured his pelvis and had a large wound on his hind leg where he had hit a water tank on the way down. They calmed me and took such good care of my boy. He's nearly completely mended now and the vet nurses still make contact with me to check in on him to see how he is recovering. Struggletown Small Animal Hospital is the best vet practise I've ever taken any of my furbabies to, because they know animals aren't just pets, they're family, and the workers there are dedicated to treating them like so and offer amazing customer service. Wonderful service, friendly and very helpful. Our two 6 month old Siamese kittens suddenly stopped eating for a week and were getting fightingly thin. Struggletown was caring and gentle, performed appropriate test initially to make sure they were not in mortal danger and then more extensive blood tests to investigate the cause. They advised how to get the kittens eating again to slowly restore their strength and provided the best food to stimulate their sense if smell and desire to eat. We never discovered why the kittens stopped eating but they are both putting on weight again now. Struggletown was available when we needed them, even at 9pm at night when the kittens looked particularly bad. Thank you Struggletown and Anthony and Don for your care and compassion. Have only been to this vet for a short time but i am so far very pleased with the service. The receptionist was well spoken, friendly and even helped me with some behavioural problems i had been having with my cat. Both the vet and nurse took blood form my cat (normally quite the terrifying experience) with no trouble while reassuring him. It was really nice to see how much the staff care for the animals. Although this veterinary hospital is obviously very busy they still take the time to talk to you and work out what is going on with the pet. I love my cat like a child and i wanted my regular vet to as well. I will be back as so far im very impressed. Read Less

i thought these guys were really good untill i changed my vet one day and they told me in 3 minutes that he needed surgery on his eyes. ive been to struggletown 6 times this year alone and they failed to catch the eye condition. they kept me coming back there for small issues that should have been resolved.poor customer service and care resulting in me paying another $300 for surgery... do not trust this vet with your baby... I did and he might have permanent damage because of it Read Less
