I have been taking my 2 Persian chinchilla cats to Rooty Hill Vet. Since they were born (about 10 years ago). I live near the city and it takes me a few hours for a return trip, but it absolutely worth it. Rob has been seeing my cats. He is knowledgeable, gentle with cats and professional. Always a wonderful place to visit. Vets and staff are great, they answer your many questions and are very reassuring. They know their stuff and most importantly they care about your pet. We have been coming here for a year, even had our dog desexed and they are one of the few flexible places that are open after hours. This is the best vet you could ever ask for. They are extremely busy, and there is often a wait, but they don't make you feel any less valued for it. People come from various places to this vet, whether they live nearby or not. Every time you're here, you'll meet a new person that will tell you how they've been coming to this vet for 20, 30 etc. years. They'll tell you that they travel great distances to be here. Since a little girl we've been taking our pets here. Now I have a family of my own we still trust our furry kids to Maurice, Robert and the rest of the crew. They are experts in the care of any animal including wildlife. I unfortunately came across an injured Magpie and Galah it was not a problem for them to take them in! The Secret is out........................................!!1 This Vet Clinic would have to be the Best in Sydney and why you ask?? 1.They are passionate about there job. 2.They definitely never overcharge. 3. They explain in easy terms about your animal's welfare and the Vets seem young and vibrant to the point you get a feeling they REALLY want to help you. I would definitely recommend them to anyone their shop front mayb look a bit shabby but wait till you walk inside you simply feel they have your interests at heart and ps* they are always busy and yet still seem to make you feel important enough to care so the waiting time doesnt seem to matter.. Just a footnote........ I was told about this Vet a while back by a friend, well a while back my dog had a growth on his belly i was quoted by other Vets twice as much as Rooty Hill Vets and they were confident to get the whole problem sorted and they kept their word and the price never changed....
