I've now been to this practice a number of times and still do not feel like my toy poodle is getting the care and treatment I paid for. While in consultation, instead of paying attention to my girl, the vet, was busy answering questions from staff members who kept walking in and interrupting the consult. Not only that, but when I asked a question regarding another part of my pet's body, I was told we won't bother with that just now. WHAT???? I understand that the vet's are under the pump with the pressure of dealing with the owners of these precious creatures, while trying to find out what is wrong with them, but at the moment I'm having trouble finding a connection with the vet and myself. Rossmore vet is a wonderful practice. Dr Zoe was able to handle my cat even though she was aggressive and in pain. She was quickly able to diagnose the problem and recommend a treatment program that was started immediately. I was able to see a vet very quickly even though it was a Sunday. No appointment needed. To top off the excellent service their prices were nearly a third of the cost of what I was quoted elsewhere. If only there was a button to leave zero stars for this place. I would! I adopted my beautiful puppy from here when he was four months old, and the people here clearly don’t care about the well-being of these dogs because they don’t get socialised (I asked the receptionist and she admitted they don’t do this), and they clearly were in distress in their tiny cages with their food clearly thrown on the floor! When I adopted my puppy, they said that vaccinations were included and that I just needed to bring him in for his final vaccination in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, I brought him in, the vet said I was free to go, I walked to the receptionist and she said it was all good and I was free to go, and said bye to me. One week later, I get sent the bill in the mail. When I called them up about it, they said the vaccination wasn’t included, and that I had ran out before the receptionist could get to me, even though she had clearly looked me in the eye and WAVED GOODBYE TO ME. I questioned why they didn’t call me up as soon as I left or even the following day if they were too busy, and they just said, ‘I don’t know.’ If they had told me on the spot, I would’ve been happy to pay, but I have never been to a vet where they didn’t charge me on the spot, but rather send me an invoice ONE WEEK LATER. Please don’t bring your pets here. They clearly don’t care about the safety and well-being of your pets, and are clearly only working for the money. They have no customer service skills as when I called, they would either say they were busy and they’d call me back, and they never did, or they’d transfer me to someone else, put me on hold and then mysteriously hang up.
