I've now been to this practice a number of times and still do not feel like my toy poodle is getting the care and treatment I paid for. While in consultation, instead of paying attention to my girl, the vet, was busy answering questions from staff members who kept walking in and interrupting the consult. Not only that, but when I asked a question regarding another part of my pet's body, I was told we won't bother with that just now. WHAT???? I understand that the vet's are under the pump with the pressure of dealing with the owners of these precious creatures, while trying to find out what is wrong with them, but at the moment I'm having trouble finding a connection with the vet and myself. I've heard great things about RVC, yet each time I've walked away, I have felt disappointed.

Rossmore vet is a wonderful practice. Dr Zoe was able to handle my cat even though she was aggressive and in pain. She was quickly able to diagnose the problem and recommend a treatment program that was started immediately. I was able to see a vet very quickly even though it was a Sunday. No appointment needed. To top off the excellent service their prices were nearly a third of the cost of what I was quoted elsewhere. Rossmore vet will be my first port of call from now on if I can't see my regular vet which is closer. Worth the trip

If only there was a button to leave zero stars for this place. I would! I adopted my beautiful puppy from here when he was four months old, and the people here clearly don’t care about the well-being...
If only there was a button to leave zero stars for this place. I would! I adopted my beautiful puppy from here when he was four months old, and the people here clearly don’t care about the well-being of these dogs because they don’t get socialised (I asked the receptionist and she admitted they don’t do this), and they clearly were in distress in their tiny cages with their food clearly thrown on the floor!
When I adopted my puppy, they said that vaccinations were included and that I just needed to bring him in for his final vaccination in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, I brought him in, the vet said I was free to go, I walked to the receptionist and she said it was all good and I was free to go, and said bye to me. One week later, I get sent the bill in the mail. When I called them up about it, they said the vaccination wasn’t included, and that I had ran out before the receptionist could get to me, even though she had clearly looked me in the eye and WAVED GOODBYE TO ME. I questioned why they didn’t call me up as soon as I left or even the following day if they were too busy, and they just said, ‘I don’t know.’ If they had told me on the spot, I would’ve been happy to pay, but I have never been to a vet where they didn’t charge me on the spot, but rather send me an invoice ONE WEEK LATER.
Please don’t bring your pets here. They clearly don’t care about the safety and well-being of your pets, and are clearly only working for the money. They have no customer service skills as when I called, they would either say they were busy and they’d call me back, and they never did, or they’d transfer me to someone else, put me on hold and then mysteriously hang up. The only good thing about this place was that I was able to find my beautiful dog.

I should have written this review a long time ago, but it was too hard for us to talk about our beloved dog Goldie who passed away on 07/03/2018 due to a big brain tumor.
Rossmore Veterinary Hospital is by far the best veterinary hospital that we have been to. The vets (Robert and Kevin) are very professional and experienced. All the staff there were very friendly and lovely and everyone genuinely cared about animals.
I highly recommend Rossmore Veterinary Hospital for their affordable and exceptional service and care.

I don’t think they even deserve one star. Our dog has been sick for a while while we have been bounced around between vets. Finally line up an MRI with Rossmore Vet and make an appointment over one week in advance. My wife and I take the day off work and drive out to the vet. 5 minutes...I repeat, 5 minutes prior to arriving, we receive a phone call. The vet has been called out to a house call AND by the way our MRI machine isn’t big enough to do what is required. What an absolute waste of time. And waste of an annual leave day. Their solution: “take her to Sydney uni”. These vets should be ashamed at the service they provide. Poor communication; poor customer service.

I took my chihuahua Biggie to Rossmore vet to be desexed on the 18/04/17. I got there at 9:15 and was there when the pre-operative sedative was given to my dog Biggie at about 9:30 by Dr T. H. Over 2 ...
I took my chihuahua Biggie to Rossmore vet to be desexed on the 18/04/17. I got there at 9:15 and was there when the pre-operative sedative was given to my dog Biggie at about 9:30 by Dr T. H. Over 2 hours later I was told that he had gone into cardiac arrest and died when the vet was about to put the drip in before the anaesthetic had even begun. It is my concern that he wasn't monitored properly and left too long before they got around to seeing to him as there was over a 2 hour window from the time the sedative was administered and the time I was notified of his death. This has truly devastated me and my family. I would strongly recommend not using this vet practice. I dropped off a perfectly healthy, beautiful dog who was purchased from a reputable breeder and had been declared perfectly healthy by a vet before I bought him and it broke my heart that he died during what should have been a routine, everyday operation. I believe with more care administering the sedative and proper monitoring after the sedative he would still be alive. Biggie was the baby of our family. The most loving, cheeky and mischievous dog. His death has left a huge hole in our lives. Writing this review won't bring him back but I truly hope it makes others think twice before taking their animals to this practice.

Took my MALE cat to get desexed, only to come back the next day and get charged for a FEMALE cats operation. We told them it was a MALE cat with the surgeon then coming back after checking and telling us that indeed it is a MALE, then telling us that they proceeded with the surgery looking for ovaries when there were none.

While the rest of the world celebrate Christmas 2016, I (and my family) mourn the loss of our beloved little girl - 4 year old pure Staffy Minnie. If only I had not sent her to Rossmore Vet, my little girl would have been alive and celebrating Christmas with us. On Tues (20/12), my little girl went for a simple procedure of de-sexing and was discharged the next evening. We found her breathless the following morning. Rossmore Vet deny any wrong however she was bleeding internally and discharged without appropriate checks. She was the MOST beautiful, caring and gentle soul. I will never forgive Rossmore Vet - you have taken a part of me. Please be careful when you take your pet to this horrible place - they simply don't care. Look after your babies...and avoid Rossmore Vets. My fit and healthy girl had many more years to live but this right was taken away from her. How can you be so cruel and negligent in your duty of care? How can they continue to carry out their business?? I will not rest until I find justice for my little angel..... Whilst Rossmore Vet & staff enjoy Christmas, my house is quiet with silent cries and thoughts of our baby. We cry the most when our other dog cries as he misses her so much - our heart is absolutely broken. I wouldn't recommend an inch of a STAR for this awful business!!

I've now been to this practice a number of times and still do not feel like my toy poodle is getting the care and treatment I paid for. While in consultation, instead of paying attention to my girl, the vet, was busy answering questions from staff members who kept walking in and interrupting the consult. Not only that, but when I asked a question regarding another part of my pet's body, I was told we won't bother with that just now. WHAT???? Rossmore vet is a wonderful practice. Dr Zoe was able to handle my cat even though she was aggressive and in pain. She was quickly able to diagnose the problem and recommend a treatment program that was started immediately. I was able to see a vet very quickly even though it was a Sunday. No appointment needed. To top off the excellent service their prices were nearly a third of the cost of what I was quoted elsewhere. Rossmore vet will be my first port of call from now on if I can't see my regular vet which is closer. Worth the trip

Rossmore Veterinary Hospital is by far the best veterinary hospital that we have been to. The vets (Robert and Kevin) are very professional and experienced. All the staff there were very friendly and lovely and everyone genuinely cared about animals.

How can you be so cruel and negligent in your duty of care? How can they continue to carry out their business?? I will not rest until I find justice for my little angel..... Whilst Rossmore Vet & staff enjoy Christmas, my house is quiet with silent cries and thoughts of our baby. We cry the most when our other dog cries as he misses her so much - our heart is absolutely broken. I wouldn't recommend an inch of a STAR for this awful business!!

Austral Boarding Kennels find Rossmore vet to be excellent!!! All the staff are wonderful, the vets are experienced and helpful! No hesitation on the care of all our pets!
