Such a loving and caring bunch of professionals. They were there for my beloved Vader till his last breath and even on a regular consultation they made my boy feel very comfortable by not jumping into any procedure instantly but allowing him to get comfortable with his surroundings. Our two Newfoundlands have been superbly cared for by vet Sandra. She is exceptionally thorough and keeps up to date with the latest information about giant dogs. She always makes herself available for additional questions that we remember when we get home. Our dogs both love her and cannot wait to jump out of the car when we pull up in Summer Hill. These guys are a great local vet - as well as non local vet. I changed to them after I had quite a few issues with my cat's previous vets and these guys have been a dream.They have onsite testing facilities, hospital & boarding. The vets there actually give a damn and offer top quality care to any pets that come in. They often go above and beyond what's expected when  your pet isn't 100% - especially with my cat.Often I've had to go back in and they've been a total dream.They sell foods, treats, treatments, toys and a wide variety of items. They also sometimes have kittens and cats looking for homes inside the offices and have been known to take in strays that come calling that are sick. All around you couldn't ask for more from your vet here. They also offer payment plans if your pets treatment comes to a large sum so you can make payments as you go. Best ever. Read Less

We have used Summer Hill Village Vet for many years, and give them the highest recommendation possible! For example, last week we took our dog Pokey (12 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier) in for dental surgery. She had three bad teeth removed by Lydia (she and Sandra are our favourite vets EVER!) and after only one week she is fully recovered, amazingly transformed from an old geriatric dog back to her old perky puppy-like self! The highlight of our visits is always their receptionist Deesh, who is always professional - but she is also very caring, sweet and funny! They are all kind, gentle, caring people and we trust them completely with our dogs, cats and even our chickens! Five stars isn't enough and we would give them twenty if we could! Read Less

A couple of my friends and I used to be really happy with the boarding services provided by this Veterinary. Sadly, we noticed the recent turnover of the staff members. There used to be lovely caring vet nurses n the one we can't mention enough was Ms. Cindy. There are many others too but just can't remember their names....sorry. Recently, i sent my pet to this clinic for boarding and was asked by the receptionist Ms. Belinda what type of diet do i normaly give my baby (pet)? After i told her (Indoor), she written on my baby's form as normal adult diet....obviously...i can read and understand English perfectly. I proceeded to ask her what's the difference between the Indoor and normal adult diet? The following were her reply: 1)She claimed there's not much of a difference (May I know if there's no difference why is she asking in the first place n why is it stated otherwise on the food packaging?) No wonder our pets been putting on weight! 2)The best part was... she actually told me in my face that she will have to open a brand new bag of kibbles just for my pet and that's not going to happen....May I know is my pet not good enough for your service???? If that's the case why didn't they asked the pet owners to bring in their own food supply for their pets???? Anyways, when i brought my pet into the boarding area, i emphasized to one of the lovely nurse that my pet needs to be on his specific diet. I really like this boarding place but i really wish they can improve their service. It's never easy to leave our loved ones behind and having a group of dedicated team of veterinary staff is the best that one can expect. Let's not talk about dollar and cents here....if your service is up to standard...money is the least we pet owners are worried about. Read Less
