My family and I take our two dogs and cat to this surgery. Every time we arrive we are politely greeted and served by the staff. Over the years they have taken the time to personally learn about and remember my animals which means so much to me as a client. The nurses and vets all show they have a true passion for the animal industry and are very personable. The times my animals have had to be admitted into hospital for treatment I have been pleasantly surprised by the regular updates and communication from the staff. My partner and I are so happy with the service we have received at the Kellyville Animal Hospital. The staff were so kind, patient, professional and made us feel so at ease when it came to treating our pet's injury. They listened patiently to all the questions we had for them and we weren't made to feel like we were stupid, all questions were answered comprehensively. We wish we had not panicked and gone to a 24hr vet when our pet had an accident in the middle of the night because it would have saved us A LOT of stress. Kellyville Animal Hospital has an after hours number (which I now have saved in my phone), which we will be using for any late night emergencies from now on. The prices for treatment are competitive and the facilities are the best I've ever come across. Dr Markus Mander has been our two fur-babies vet since before we bought them as puppies over 11 years ago and before he moved to his current premises! They have been with him ever since, even though we love a good distance away. He always cares for all his "little soldiers" in such a tender and kind way. BUYER BEWARE - Every time I pick up medicine for my dog from this venue they change their price for the same product and make ridiculous reasons why sometimes its a 'dispensing fee' other times its a completely different excuse.. This is for a tablet that usually costs $4 per pill and was charged at $10 a pill today. So anyone who has long time medication and consultation requirements for your little friend stay away. We cannot believe the care and skills that were applied by this veterinary clinic in saving our Husky dog from a Rottweiler attack. When we took our man in, his bowels were all out and he'd been ripped wide open. They took him in when they were closing and performed an immediate operation that took more time and skill than needed. We have had this dog since my kids were little and to lose him would have been devastating as he was the kids companion when their dad left. After the operation, they rang us every few hours and allowed us to visit our man of the house more than a few times and were overwhelmingly beautiful and caring towards us. These people go above and beyond of what's required by them as a vet and will never forget what they did for not only our dog but our family. I would ONLY recommend them to those who want number one care for their pets, and my family and I will always be indebted to them. Be very careful before engaging this practice!! We took our puppy, who was generally unwell. Without diagnosis, he was administered with antibiotics and a pain killer. Two days later we took him back as he had deteriorated. After tests were completed, he was diagnosed with hook worm. By this time our puppy was very sick. He was given 2 blood transfusions and several treatments but sadly passed away. We first visited the vet on the 27/12 and by 31/12 he has passed. We received a call on the 31/12 advising our puppy had suffered a reaction to the 2nd transfusion and they were trying to RESUSCITATE him, we asked them to let him go as he had been through enough. We were charged for a euthanasia injection. They must have resuscitated him to administer the euthanasia injection!! Incredible!!!!! Read Less

Callous, irresponsible and clueless...! They were found wanting when our Dane fell ill and aggravated the situation further by poor in-house treatment for 3 nights. She came out after the 3 nights with her neck swelled to the size of her head and we were advised 'not to be too alarmed' at the condition. They were completely clueless about the problem and were visibly irked when pressed about it. When asked about the escalating her condition to be reviewed by specialists we were advised to wait for a day or two. They seem to rely more on 'google' than actual medical skills. Barring one or two, the place gives off a general sense of apathy and is all about the money. The moral of this experience is, if your gut instinct tells you there's something wrong with your pet, trust your instinct and get a second opinion from another clinic right away ! I would not trust my pet to the care of this clinic ever again. They seemed to be ruled more by the financial gains than actual care for the pets they are trained for. Read Less

The vets are professional and explain everything in detail. They have never made me feel like a bad pet owner even when my pets put on a few kilos but they always celebrate the wins when they shed a few kilos too which makes me feel comfortable to discuss any issues or worries I have with my pets. Appalling. I have never had such poor uncaring service in my life. My dog was sick. We took her to the vets and were charged literally hundreds of dollars for tests, care and for my dog to be put on a glucose drip. Next morning received a call telling me my dog had died due to "plummeting glucose levels". Ironic considering that is what she was on the drip for. DID NOT receive an invoice. Received a call a couple of days later asking if I wanted to pay for an autopsy or cremate the dog. All at extra cost of course. Still no invoice...... Got a "Friendly Reminder" in the post explaining that if we did not settle the account we would be charged a 25% admin fee..... Still no invoice...... Questioned the account. Finally got an invoice. Lots of items (including a glucose drip which I question considering that is how she died.....) however no copy of reports that had been charged for or any demonstrated evidence of what was charged was actually administered. I will settle the account however I would suggest that if your animals health is more important to you than impressive surroundings go to a traditional local vet rather than this licensed banditry... My aged and frail dog had been missing for 3 days when I received a call from Sydney Animal Hospital in Kellyville, saying that someone had handed her in 35 kms from home! They were so professional and kind and had clearly cared for her very well because my little dog was in remarkably good condition. They would not accept any payment for their services. Sydney Animal Hospital Kellyville have taken exceptional care of my furbabies for about 7 years now and they understand pet parents like no one else - nothing is too much trouble.
