Northside Emergency Vet Service (NEVS) is based in Terrey Hills, Sydney. NEVS works as a co-operative with 27 veterinary hospitals on Sydney's Northern Beaches & North Shore. NEVS will be open when your local vet is closed. We are open all public holidays.
The emergency vets and nurses at NEVS are highly experienced, qualified and skilled in the critical care of your pet. NEVS vets and nurses stay fully appraised of the latest veterinary knowledge and research to ensure your pet receives the best in emergency vet care.
The NEVS emergency team understand the standing of your pet as a member of your family and will treat them with compassion, care and professionalism.

Amazing! I would recommend this hospital to anyone. They saved my cats life, and looking as good and as happy as the first day I met him and brought him home. He had a team of staff looking after him, and yet, they also looked after us - constantly asking for advice and reassurance. The staff here are professional, supportive and talented

My dog Mollie suffered a bite that resulted in an anaphylactic reaction that culminated in a life threatening bout of pancreatitis. I rushed her to Northside on a Sunday morning. She was in a bad way....
My dog Mollie suffered a bite that resulted in an anaphylactic reaction that culminated in a life threatening bout of pancreatitis. I rushed her to Northside on a Sunday morning. She was in a bad way. The staff were amazing. They explained everything to me and kept me fully informed. They were happy to take my calls late at night and early in the morning.
As a dog owner all my life, I’ve seen the inside of veterinary clinics and hospitals more times than I care to remember. At least in this case, Northside Emergency Veterinary Clinic made this experience as comfortable and stress free as possible. I hope that I never need their service again; but if I do, I won’t hesitate to take one of my much loved animals there.

Extremely qualified staff in particular anna and Steph (who i dealt with) were very helpful. Both showed great compassion and genuine care for my dog pinpointing a problem that 4 other vets did not.

I had a brain fart and left a block of dark chocolate on the bench in our kitchen, went outside for 10 minutes, and came back to find my dog Rhea had eaten more than half the block! I jumped on the phone to NEVS right away and told them what happened. I drove her straight there and the staff looked after her right away. They are very efficient and professional, I was on edge, but the staff were super calm, which helped immensely. Rhea was feeling sorry for herself after her treatment, but she was all better in no time thanks to the wonderful staff at NEVS!

Amazing! I would recommend this hospital to anyone. They saved my cats life, and looking as good and as happy as the first day I met him and brought him home. He had a team of staff looking after him, and yet, they also looked after us - constantly asking for advice and reassurance. The staff here are professional, supportive and talented

She was in a bad way. The staff were amazing. They explained everything to me and kept me fully informed. They were happy to take my calls late at night and early in the morning.

I had a brain fart and left a block of dark chocolate on the bench in our kitchen, went outside for 10 minutes, and came back to find my dog Rhea had eaten more than half the block! I jumped on the phone to NEVS right away and told them what happened. I drove her straight there and the staff looked after her right away. They are very efficient and professional, I was on edge, but the staff were super calm, which helped immensely. Rhea was feeling sorry for herself after her treatment, but she was all better in no time thanks to the wonderful staff at NEVS!
