We have recently moved out of the area and were very sad to say goodbye to the wonderful staff at Thornleigh Veterinary Hospital. We adopted our two cats Enoch and Bear (formerly Milky and BB) from the hospital last year and from the very first day the staff were always helpful, attentive and professional. The staff genuinely care so much about our pets, especially the lovely vet nurses Nikki, Kristy and Rebecca (who helped us adopt the cats). I'm so glad Thornleigh Veterinary Hospital helped Enoch and Bear find their forever home with us (after three whole months at the vet!) Thank you for all your help! This used to be an excellent practice when run by Chris Meany before his retirement. However tonight I rang them so I could bring a badly injured cat in. It had been hit by a car outside our house. They refused to help us and instead suggested we take the cat to SASH at North Ryde. A 30 minute trip away against 5 minutes to Thornleigh Vets. I then rang Pennant Hills Vets who waited back after their closing time for us to bring in the cat. Unfortunately by the time we got there the cat had died. Shame on you Thornleigh Vets. My friends got my cat from the pound there for my birthday. He was in excellent health and cute as a button! Over the course of his life, we continued to take him to Thornleigh Vets for check ups and as the years wore on, his annual needles to help with mobility during winter. Eventually we great sadness we had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy earlier this year and the support that the vet and the nurses gave us was absolutely wonderful. Very disappointed with TVH. Used their boarding services there for two weeks for our Maine Coon cat. When we collected our cat, he was not well after being in their care. They even admitted that the cat had been off his food the last couple of days before collection. The vet then charged me to treat the cat for his illness. The vet prescribed some medication which in turn almost killed our cat. I took our cat to Fox Valley Vets who treated our cat back to good health. I am sorry to say; I will never use Thornleigh Vet Hospital for any of their services. Nor will I recommend them to anyone. You have damaged your reputation with this pet owner. Read Less
