Turramurra vet is demonstrating how a responsible business can function during the COVID pandemic. I was going to put my cats’ vaccinations on hold until I read in their newsletter how seriously they are taking precautions. Dr Angus me me at my car for the consult, then took one cat at a time into the surgery to give them a health check and vaccination. I received a written report on each cat’s health.
I went in to pay my bill. They protect their staff by having a zone around the desk and took payment by card only where no touching was required.
Well done Jim and team for protecting your staff and the community.

I wish I could give this vet a rating of less than one star, but it's not possible on this site.
On Monday, June 18, we took our dog to Turramurra vet to get her teeth cleaned and have a dew claw trimmed. WE She seemed fine when released to us that afternoon, although she was quite groggy from the anesthesia and could not walk (they did release her early to us so fair enough). However, the next day she was still acting quite strangely, and we took her back that evening to be examined. It turns out they had completely shaved her Adam's apple in her neck, and the vet on duty said it was one of the worst cases of clipper rash she had ever seen. We were advised to use some cream and it should go away soon.
Over one week later and our dog is still not healed, as you can see from the photo. She has had to go on antibiotics and her throat is still bloody. We have had to put a bandana around her neck and booties on her feet so she does not scratch, as she is unable to wear an Elizabethan style collar due to where the injury is located. The stress on her, and our family, has been just terrible over the past week and a half.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this vet to anyone after what has happened to my dog.

The staff at Turramurra Vet have always been amazing. My family has been taking our pets here since the early days of the practice. We have since moved from the area but we continue to return for the great care and service. Knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, professional staff. I couldn’t ask for more.

Always take excellent care of our animals (and us when we are concerned about our pets!). Kind and gentle with the animals, great with people as well!, extremely thorough and give clear advice and reassurance to us. Nothing is too much trouble or too bothersome for them. They are always able to assess what the animal needs and fit us in for an appointment accordingly. No unnecessary procedures but all care taken. We love having such a beautiful team of vets and nurses to oversee our dogs medical care. Absolutely recommend Turramurra Vets!

These vets are absolutely outstanding. I could not recommend them enough. Our cat, Milo suffered from tick paralysis and we almost lost him but thanks to the care and expertise of Turramurra Vet Hospital he made it. My puppy nose swelled up on one side, from a sting or bite of some kind. I had never seen this before and was slightly panicked! I called the office even before they were open; they fit me right away and the vet examined him immediately when he arrived! He clearly explained the timeline of what may happen next, what symptoms to look for if it happens again, and when it could be more serious. Not only did he help my puppy, but he put my mind at ease and prepared me to asses the severity of the situation later.
I take all my animals here for their annual health checks and vaccinations and they are always very well looked after. They are slightly more expensive than some other places, but all the staff I have encountered there seems to genuinely care about my pets and always do a thorough examination. I am happy to pay for this kind of quality care and kind service, which you do not get everywhere!

Turramurra vet is demonstrating how a responsible business can function during the COVID pandemic. I was going to put my cats’ vaccinations on hold until I read in their newsletter how seriously they are taking precautions. On Monday, June 18, we took our dog to Turramurra vet to get her teeth cleaned and have a dew claw trimmed. WE She seemed fine when released to us that afternoon, although she was quite groggy from the anesthesia and could not walk (they did release her early to us so fair enough). Always take excellent care of our animals (and us when we are concerned about our pets!). Kind and gentle with the animals, great with people as well!, extremely thorough and give clear advice and reassurance to us. Nothing is too much trouble or too bothersome for them. They are always able to assess what the animal needs and fit us in for an appointment accordingly. No unnecessary procedures but all care taken.
