Rob performed two major surgeries on our dog's legs and is about to perform a third today to deal with genetic deformities. He is without a doubt the most amazing vet. Friendly, kind and a genuine bond with his animal patients. Despite our dog ending up with surgical pain on some visits, he is always super excited and delighted to see Rob every single time, which is a massive change from other vets where we have had to drag him into the surgery. The other vets there are also great and we particularly like Luke too. They always remember us when we go in and remember the dog's name just walking past in the waiting room, which is lovely considering the number of animals that must come through their doors every day. I might also add their pricing is extremely reasonable, with Rob quoting less than half the price of another local vet (and the other vet would have needed a Sydney Uni expert to come in and perform the surgery) Cannot recommend Vineyard Vets highly enough! I will never again use this vet I accidentally almost booked my two in for a desex didn't realise who it was until the rude nurse brought up the bad memory on the phone Not only is she rude and unprofessional but what I experienced with my rabbit that day regardless if there was or wasn't a change was unacceptable and they still lie through their teeth about how it was put to sleep - standing around the corner for a few seconds is not enough time to gas and inject a rabbit which is what I requested you liars!! And I saw him rough handling a dog when he was walking back in with it after training! The nurse just lies and covers up everything hence why she still has a job there!!!! Disgraceful!!!!! I have used Vineyard Veterinary Hospital for nearly 30 years and have always been very pleased with the care and attention my dogs receive. I have seen the majority of the current Vets, for after hours emergency care, or for just everyday problems and have been impressed by all of them. What I really like about the Vets at Vineyard, is that they LISTEN to their patients owners and work out what the problem is, rather than just jumping to conclusions, or simply fobbing you off. To be able to go in and say 'I know something is wrong, but the symptoms are negligible, or near to non existent' and then have your worries confirmed by an actual problem that can be remedied, rather than being fobbed off as a nuisance, is excellent. I'd just like to thank Rob and Russell and all the wonderful staff at VVH for taking such wonderful care of My dog Fletcher, who was in for major surgery . I can't recommend or thank all the staff enough for the care and attention they took making sure Fletch got the very best treatment and care. They went above and beyond their duty looking after Fletch and making sure I was kept up to date with what was happening. During Fletch's stay they also dealt with my terminally ill cat who I had to rush in when she crashed . I can't thank Rob and Russell enough for their care and compassion at such a difficult time. This practice is amazing! Vineyard vets care about the lives of ALL animals even those that are homeless and need medical care & procedures. I tried RSPCA and many other rescue organizations trying to get help for some poor stray kittens near where I work & got NO help whatsoever. These guys are vets to my own pet so I thought I would call them without hesitation they said Yes to desexing these poor little homeless kitties.. Best vet ever!!!!! I travel from the central coast to see rob and his team for my girl candy, she is a 4year old staffy that has had a bad run with her legs and needed surgery twice in under 5 mounth, rob was the cheapest surgery and didn't try to rip me off like other vets have tried to do to me in the past. Like telling me that she needed an exray that will cost $450 and she didn't need it to begin with ... They have the animals best interest at heart, they had candy for 1 week with her first opp where she was feed and medicated with no extra charge. Same with the second opp (but not as long) Candy has healed up really well with both legs and is a very happy dog now she is pain free thanks to the skill from rob and his team we couldn't be happier with the result thanks so much ..... Dr Luke has been a a guiding soul to ensure our beloved Border Collie, Misty, received the best of care until she was ready to pass on peacefully 2 weeks ago today surrounded by her adoring family.Of course our great loss is still raw, but a wonderful 16 1/2 years of companionship and unconditional loyalty from Misty will never be forgotten. Recently, I had my Doberman, Iggy, de sexed. After driving home and making Iggy comfortable, I noticed a possible problem. I rang the clinic, and I think due to my concern s they said if it made me more comfortable I could bring her back in and let her stay overnight for observations. I mentioned that I was 40 mins drive away and that I wouldn't be able to get back there till after closing hours. Not a problem at all. Upon arrival and a further look over they were confident there were no issues but would be happy to let her stay overnight for observations if I was more comfortable with that. I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to pick her up till mid afternoon. I was reassured that that was fine. The next morning I was informed that all was good and she was ready for pickup any time I could. Upon pickup, I was reassured everything was normal. Iggy was already well on the way to her hyper self. Upon leaving I attended the reception to fix up the bill for the overnight stay. I was pleasantly surprised to be told that there was no additional charge. I was hugely impressed by the service and attention I received and it reinforced my prior belief that the staff here genuinely enjoy working there and love all animals. I cannot express what a relief it is to have found a great vet service. By the way, they were recommended by my breeder who travels from Alfords Point to Vineyard. Pretty much says it all. Read Less

I took my bulldog here to have soft palate surgery, as Rob came highly recommended from his breeder. I was really nervous as I know it's not the easiest of surgeries, but Rob put me completely at ease and took such good care of my little boy. He had to stay overnight and when I picked him up the next day, Rob gave me a full report and run down of all his medications. It wasn't nearly as expensive as I'd expected too.
