Pittwater Animal Hospital treats its clients like a Bulk Billed Medical Practice. All About Money and no real care about the Patient or Pet Owners. The practice would not even provide advice when my Puppy was bitten at a dog park and had a tooth Ripped out over the phone. The standard response is...."Bring him into the practice", no advice, no things to watch for. I had to call another Vet "VetO Brookvale" Chris was happy to answer the questions and offer advice. He is just too far away for a local visit. SO....we brought our Puppy in to Pittwater.....The Vet we saw couldn't even get her hands in the Dogs mouth to check the damage as he was growling due the discomfort. Every conversation or follow up treatment (Even adverse reactions to the medications they prescribe) is met with another Bring him in............$ 89.00 Cha Ching, There is no foresight of potential reactions or mitigation strategies. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUNNY HERE. We took our beautiful bunny here because he had been off his food for a day but had eaten that morning. After an e x ray I was told he had a gut statis and would need to be kept in overnight. I looked at the ex ray and the Vet Jen told me it was not a bad case and in her expectation he had a 90% chance of surviving the treatment. We were called the next morning to be told that the medication had not worked and he was dead. After speaking to Jo she said she would put him in a box for us ready to collect as we couldn't face seeing him dead. THIS WAS NOT DONE EITHER. To add insult to injury we were charged $250 for the medication that probably caused his death. Disgusted and VERY UNHAPPY. He was NOT very ill. They killed him. Read Less

After many happy years, our beautiful family member, Ella, a Siberian Husky had to be put to rest. Since we moved to the Northern beaches three years ago, we took Ella to the Pittwater Animal Hospital if she was unwell, or for her regular vaccinations. They were always so kind and caring and we knew that they always did whatever was best for Ella. We would just like to thank everyone at the practice for your wonderful care and for helping to make sure that Ella was put to rest without pain or fear. We miss her dearly but know that she is now free from pain. You helped to make a terrible day more bearable and we will always remember that. Thank-you, to you all. xxxx The Allen family. Read Less
