I believe the care that they gave my animal was adequate, but they did not go above and beyond. The vet that was assigned to my animal was young, inexperienced and terrible at giving me the right information. Every two hours I was told something different; he was on the edge of death or that he was improving. I don't mind being contacted, but this made it very hard to make decisions regarding his care as I never knew what was actually happening. The way that his euthanasia was handled was also incredibly insensitive and left a bad taste in my mouth. I am sure it was this vet's first experience and it would have been nice to be offered a consultation with a more senior vet. Other cons: - no overnight supervision - critical care animals kept next to really loud birds (how are they meant to rest?) - expensive compared to other vets I visited Some pros - Nursing staff were lovely and even sent me a video - OK location and easy to find In the end I think I will stick with my local non-specialist vet as I have much more confidence in them at the moment.
