We saw Dr Stephen with Violet our Guinea pig who had a lower abdominal tumour- 2 types.He explained our options re surgery or just keeping her comfortable. As Violet was over 6 year old we decided the latter and the tumour grew but until yesterday she was comfortable,eating well and living with her Sister Guinea. Yesterday afternoon she passed away in my arms. Thank-you for your care she was the Rescue Piggy that came to stay and was much loved.

Today we had to say farewell to our 13 year old Cairn terrier Charley. She has seen the vets at WPH Vet Hospital all her life and the care the staff have shown her and us over the years, given all her little quirks ( and mine too ) has been wonderful. In the past week Stephen and the vet nurses have provided me with support and guidance to make a tough decision. Today the professionalism, compassion and genuine care for us and Charley were a blessing. It made a sad morning bearable. Thank you. We will be back when we have a new pet to introduce to you.

Lovely staff who were very caring. They explained what was wrong with my dog in easy terms and how that affected her. They were patient and made my dog feel safe and comfortable and kept me up to date with her progress.
The facilities are very clean and welcoming, although parking can be a little tight as the entrance is off a main road.

There are vets, and there are animal loving vets.
The guys here are the second ones, and they always show an interest in what you (the owner) has to say, not just jumping to conclusions (and think that you know nothing).
Not only are they loving and caring towards our pets, they are also patient in teaching and demonstrating technique that we need to know such as how to apply a worming pill to our cats. Never in a hurry, and there is never a stupid question.
This is no longer my 'local' vet but I am willing to drive the slightly longer distance to see them, because the 'local' one doesn't show the same attitude as them.
Highly recommended.

Today we had to say farewell to our 13 year old Cairn terrier Charley. She has seen the vets at WPH Vet Hospital all her life and the care the staff have shown her and us over the years, given all her little quirks ( and mine too ) has been wonderful. In the past week Stephen and the vet nurses have provided me with support and guidance to make a tough decision. Today the professionalism, compassion and genuine care for us and Charley were a blessing. It made a sad morning bearable. Thank you. We will be back when we have a new pet to introduce to you.

The guys here are the second ones, and they always show an interest in what you (the owner) has to say, not just jumping to conclusions (and think that you know nothing).
