I appreciate Girraween veterinary hospital for taking me on for my cert IV in veterinary nursing workplacement, they have a lot of patience with me as I am still learning.
My cat panther is currently receiving laser therapy for his gingivitis, I have never been to another vet that cares this much, if it wasn’t for Girraween vet I wouldn’t know that my cat had gingivitis in the first place.
Thank you!! I’ll be forever grateful for your patience and support. Read Less

Been with Girraween Vet for a few years, great Puppy School and very good service. Sadly they have got too expensive so we have transferred our boys to another vet. As an example, desexing a 20kg, 1 year old male dog at Girraween will set you back $350 while reputable Vets nearby charge $198 with the same level of service. We got desexing, micro chipping and the Lepto vaccine that Girraween missed for $291, and a very happy pup. There will be another $44 charge for the Lepto follow up in a month. Apparently Girraween no longer does the Lepto vaccine as its too painful in their opinion. (Second hand info) That's OK, but please give the owner the choice, we had no idea it was missed. Read Less

The treatment I received by Laurelle was of disgusting. She was rude, arrogant and horrible to me because my dog was not desexed and she did not approve of this. She tried to scare me into desexing my dog with stories of mammary tumors and pyometra. I believe she exaggerated the figures of the chances of mammary tumors. When I asked about price difference for desexing at Girraween and another vet she became even more agitated and told me that they only give discounts to responsible people who desex early. She also told me that you get what you pay for and that the cheap vets wont even use sterile gloves. She was absolutely horrible to me and I left in tears. I would not recommend anyone to use this horrible vet. Read Less
