Last week I had to make the tough decision to put one of my dogs down. The vet and her assistant were very professional and compassionate in a sense that they allowed time for me to say goodbye to Molly. Today I received a card in the mail from DMVS expressing their sympathies. Thank you for your support in this difficult time.

Two weeks ago my chihuahuas both were sick one past away (Bella) that morning,the next dog (bubbles) was then taken to this vet to be assessed then was decided due to toxins and liver failure to put bubbles down. Everyone knows how hard it is to lose a pet especially one of 10yrs +. It was a traumatic day losing both dogs in one day. We decided as we live in a rental to get them both cremated. We were given a pamphlet for information in regards to who to contact. We mentioned... that Bella was at home but had passed away so the vet advised us to bring Bella in then they we would call the pet cremations and then they would pick both dogs up together. We went home grabbed Bella and returned with her to the vets within 10min. She was transported in a blue box with my sons name on the side which he had from birth. As far as we knew they were both there together. So I proceeded to call the cremation company to organize the cremation of bubbles and Bella. We asked if the could be cremated together as they were always together the lady said she could do them both at a discounted price so we went ahead with it. Last week I got a phone call saying that bubbles had been cremated to pick an urn and pick him up. The lady never mentioned Bella so I asked her about her. The lady from the crematorium was in shock. She replied we only picked up one dog! I was in shock. Where's the other dog?? So bubbles so far has been cremated and Bella is still missing. How did this happen? How do u lose someone dog especially in such difficult circumstances? So I only have he ashes of one dog. The lady from the crematorium came today and met with me and spoke with me via video call as I am currently in Indonesia visiting a sick relative. She said pre cremation they take the pet out of the bag and check there are no plastic or collars etc and she was adamant there was only one dog. However the vet say she was handed over! We trusted in your service to securely contain our pets u til they were in the hands of the crematorium service. Now u explain to me I have ashes of one dog!!! Where is Bella!!!! And how r u going to fix this!! Disgusting responses, incompetent and no sincerity for people current emotional status and then this happens !!! Mehr anzeigen

We recently had to make the tough decision to have our dog put down. DMVS came out to our home and the staff were very compassionate and gave us time to say goodbye. The cost for this service was less than expected and I later received a sympathy card from DMVS with a lovely note in it about our dog - a very nice touch.
