Use to think this was an excellent vet surgery, but has changed hands recently, sadly for the worse. We'd been going there for 20+ years but are now treated like strangers. Know where our old vets went, so will be leaving this vet permanently. Went there to have an old dog put down, and despite having made a special appt were made to wait 15 agonising minutes. Very, very amateur treatment by immature inexperienced "vet"???

Went to the vet to have a bird's leg inspected and a ring removed.
The vet seemed to lack any expertise in birds and the vet did not have the appropriate tool to remove the ring. This led to the vet t...
Went to the vet to have a bird's leg inspected and a ring removed.
The vet seemed to lack any expertise in birds and the vet did not have the appropriate tool to remove the ring. This led to the vet trying to cut the ring with nail cutters and then wire cutters which distressed the bird even more so.
For any dealings with birds I would recommend looking elsewhere.
On a positive note the reception staff member was nice and cheerful.

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and from the time I phoned up to make an appointment to when I saw the Vet I have felt important and that the welfare of my babies were important.
The girls in reception were friendly and helpful and I can't thank the Vets for their care and concern and advice when examining and treating my babies.
I would recommend Townsville Vet Clinic (TVC) as they really do seem to care.

I would like to share my recent experience with Townsville Vet Clinic. I usually speak with Trudy in the front office and she is always completely professional and shows me how caring and compassionate the staff are at Townsville Vet Clinic. Trudy and the staff have always been very kind to me under many different circumstances. They always make me feel like my animals are of the utmost importance to them no matter what the issue is. I have been a client of Townsville Vet Clinic for many years and have come to the clinic or phoned the clinic with health concerns for both horses and small animals. The vets are very experienced and professional and the clinic has the latest technology to offer with facilities that match. I would certainly recommend the Townsville Veterinary Clinic to anyone who values their animals like part of their family and wants professional, caring and compassionate care.

I had full intentions of changing vets to go here but I am now not planning to use them any time soon. Its unfortunate because the vets at this clinic may be fantastic but their first point of call was somewhat rude.

Went to the vet to have a bird's leg inspected and a ring removed.
The vet seemed to lack any expertise in birds and the vet did not have the appropriate tool to remove the ring. This led to the vet trying to cut the ring with nail cutters and then wire cutters which distressed the bird even more so.

I usually speak with Trudy in the front office and she is always completely professional and shows me how caring and compassionate the staff are at Townsville Vet Clinic.
