I've been hesitant in posting this review after a horrible time losing my beloved old girl. A couple of months ago, my dog had a bladder issue and it wouldn't empty and she was clearly in distress late at night. It took over an hour to get a catheter into her and relieve her. The following afternoon the specialist didn't even notice the obvious neurologic issue with her back legs, likely due to a tumour she had in the region which may have also been an issue causing her bladder to not empty. After wasting time with an inadequate low resolution ultrasound in an obvious emergency late at night and the anxious wait that ensued, my regular vet agreed with us to let my poor girl go to a better place after a rather difficult life with her multiple issues. While submitting documents for the insurance claim for the massive expense, one of the staff was quite rude to my grieving partner. Needless to say that while it likely wasn't intentional to drag her through this, I won't be using them in future and will go to Stafford Pet Emergency instead following such a horrible experience with some issues with inadequate equipment and some dubious observational incompetence. My dear little mini foxi cross (Tiny) was urgently seen to by Internal Medicine specialist Maddie Roberts. We could not have asked for a nicer person to have dealt with our very sick little boy. Sadly we had to euthanaze our boy, but Maddie made the experience for Tiny as stress free as possible. It was conducted in the most caring and compassionate way and we were given as much time as we needed to say goodbye. Thank you Maddie, you helped make a very difficult situation a lot easier.
