We'd just moved into the area and found this team quickly. Sadly, my Lab lost control of his rear legs and the writing was on the wall. The team were incredibly helpful, comforting and understanding. They dealt with the mess that was my sweaty, snot running nose and tears very respectfully as the inevitable occurred. I'd like to thank the whole team there and recommend them to any one. We saw Dr Mitch Hoch today, very pleased with the interactions - very polite, professional and shown genuine interest/concern for our furry boy. He was very helpful and informative, taking time to explain things to us. Our boy was asked to stay for a couple of hours for a thorough physical examination that we were given a copy of at the end of the visit. From the results Dr Hoch had obviously undergone differential diagnosis testing and the report explains this in details. Usually we have to ask for a copy of his bloods at other clinics but we were provided with this without having to ask. Treatment plan was discussed. Charlotte the receptionist was polite and courteous, we were able to get in on the same day without having to wait so thank you very much. Well my dog is a patient at this clinic but one of the vets (not to be named) said that they would do a procedure etc and told us the price. He said we could go home and think about it and go back. Then we made the booking to take my dog to do a biopsy and surprise surprise, without even looking at my dog another vet changed completely the story and the price increased quite quickly! When I asked explanations they said they weren’t aware of what the first vet told us! I asked explanations in regards of how the second vet can tell us a totally different story from the first one without even seeing my dog they wouldn’t explain. Bottom line, they are not trustworthy! I visited vetcall with my chihuahua believing she had contracted kennel cough, I was amazed how quickly the vet was in diagnosing the problem as fluid around the lung. Very good vet clinic! Dr. Ker-Ming and Dr. Mark are not just veterinarians, they both have sympathy for the animals and understand what pet's owners feel. Another young gentleman is also good and polite (didn't know his name) Dr. Peter, who usually rushes doing his jobs and makes the pet feel uncomfortable, may not be a good choice, though... Most of the staff there were excellent. The admin and nursing staff were very friendly however; the vet (Peter) himself was rude and abrupt. We can't go back to see him because the lack of care was stark. What a shame. The clinic asked for feedback and we gave them written feedback but they didn't even acknowledge the feedback. Other reviews posted here should have made us aware of this problem before hand. Other vets have good reviews from this clinic so we may try to get a different vet or go elsewhere. Read Less

Dr. Ker-Ming and Team at Vet Call Ashmore are amazing. They have been looking after my Sons German Shorthaired Pointer "Buddy" whom turned 11 years old, or in doggy years 56YO this month. Buddy has a new lease of life, thanks to Dr. Ker-Ming and I am very very happy as Buddy is responding very well to his medication and acts like a puppy. With ongoing support and kindness from Dr. Ker-Ming and Team we are assured that Buddy will indeed have a wonderful life. Budstar will outlive myself!!!. I do not recommend this vet at all. They gave my pet the wrong injections and she missed out on much needed antibiotics, they never once apologised and proceeded to bill me for the wrong injections they gave. They were not caring at all. Read Less

Drove up the drive way as they were closing, I had a dog that I found on busy Ashmore Rd that needed medical attention straight away, but I was turned away! told they are closed and to go to the Pound! PATHETIC! it was 4.10pm on a Saturday when clearly states on the internet that they close at 5pm. Seriously your meant to look after animals! I was so upset I couldn't believe she turned me away. Called Carrara vets which took us in straight away. Like to see you get turned away at a hospital if you where lost and injured! Read Less
